  • Smooth bro........keep that glove up and square tho. Good luck

  • You like yellow dont you!? :D

Yellow pads...glove... blocker... stick... players stick also.. :D

  • chirs osgood here: keep it up bro, your lat movement is improving. Good luck this year.

  • i know this is an old video but did u wear knee guards that cam with the pads??

  • Umm, You Fell

  • @MurmleMurmleMurmle GOOOOOD OBSERVATION

  • damn u got some lateral movement

  • he what rink is this? is this in montreal?

  • good video, haha i loved the fall at the end! it happens to the best of us

  • Very nice man hard work paying off --- love it . I love that you left the fall Just shows you are pushing the envelope .......keep up the hard work

  • Very nice man hard work paying off --- love it

  • @Forever3and8 Even on the ice he makes it look much easier than it is really. Thats why hes good, i wish i could slide and recover that fast and well.

  • Good Job , Not to shabby at all

  • Wonderful sound in reebok skates!

  • so consistant. Nice job!

  • I don't know why people think this video is to show off, other goalies can learn drills and movement from other goalies that post videos. :/

  • it's funny how ppl like to trash on the net on how they can do everything better!!! Half of you probably cant even tie your skates!!! Im a goalie, and being in nets is the toughest position on the ice!! Would love to see you put on equipment and swallow your words!!!

  • il tire sa pad trop facile/ he shot on the pads and it not difficul

  • @Justbrunelle true, but look how sound his butterfly is. Every push is perfect and hes always square to the shot. This guy has amazing technique :)

  • @iTparent

not putting you down but this is practice... just pointing that out... ive seen myshare of great practice goalies and when game time comes, shit shit shit... so this video shows nothing but the end product of dedication if you were gonna label this

  • @Justbrunelle j'avous c'est trop facile

  • Good job!

  • haha i did that in a game once...the outcome wasnt so great :/

  • When you stop you should not lift the opposing foot.

  • @littlmikie u shouldnt be telling a universty goalie how to play

  • this goalie has real good rebound control

  • lol i hate loosing my edge

  • nice fail

  • lol all I know is I have bad experiences with newer goalie skates.... sadface.

  • any tips on how to keep the stick on the ice?

  • @ps2gh3 ya hold it down on the ice

  • 1:55 fail

  • ewwwww are those vapor skates? I personally hate them because for 300 efing dollars you can hear you skates squeek and the make weird rubbing noises with your pads

  • @cptblackhawk those look like reeboks

  • @cptblackhawk actually thats the sound of his blades scraping the ice at an odd angle.. if it was rubbing against the pads it would sound more like a fart

  • is he trying to hit your leg pads?

  • lol nice wipeout at the end. great movement throughout though. plans to go pro?

  • 1:58 hahahaha i love busting my ass too, did it in toronto last summer in front of a shit ton of other goalies, best day ever! lol

  • your trainer is shooting into the center of the net, how is this practice?

  • @hydr5 yeah but its practice because he work on he lower skills in net.

  • @graffitiemerge how is it practice if the goalie knows its going there? Hey shoot into my glove 1000 times. Now I have a great glove save! Guy skates down the ice, goalie readies his glove.... GOAL LOW STICK SIDE. Goalie sucks.

  • @hydr5 he is practicing a save selection. come back when you are good enough to actually have a goalie coach.

  • @hydr5 By doing something repeatedly you build up muscle memory and reflexes this is a two minute video showing a single part of the practice. It's a good drill for movement and rebound control and definitely isn't the only practice drill he does.

  • @40cam hes making the wrong save, how is this practice? he can build muscle memory when theres no puck

  • dont feel bad ive falle n like that its embarrasing

  • what level r u?

  • @vaughnrox1228 I play University hockey right now, this is a video of when i was playing Junior AAA tho in Quebec

  • @Oking29 did ya start when you were playin juniors?

  • @Oking29 which university?

  • You are really good. Nice pads.

  • gold in the net camp

  • he fell lol

  • try not to laeve the front of your foot your gunna fall like you did at 1:59

  • The goalie position especially the drills is one of the toughest. I remembered one time I couldn't walk for a week because I never had such grueling training.

  • Nice form. Those moves don't look like much, but they surprisingly suck a lot of energy out of you.

  • is it fleury's pads ???

  • Nah man they were close tho... those were all white P2's that my junior team got me... they had the two lines in yellow tho and thanks for the comments

  • epic fail at 1:57

  • epic fail at 1:57

  • What size pads would you recommend for someone thats 6'4

  • maybe like a 38"??maybe 40 dpends on how you feel comfortable

  • the biggest pad on the market right now thats nhl legal is a 38... it totally depends on your leg tho... what i recommend doing is going to a hockey store and asking them to measure your leg for pad sizes

dont let them tell you what you should use ask to do a custom measure because at that point even if you decide custom is not for you/... you will know what size you need in terms of pads to play well and be safe...

  • why do your skates make that noise when u stopp?? makes me cringe

  • happens to me the first practice after getting them sharpened. makes me cringe too.

  • @patrickpoo it means the skates are really sharp so they are digging in I love that sound :D

  • looks like a small net

  • @thatguy00011 looks like hes one tall mother

  • need to strengthen them legs big guy........it does wonders with strong legs!

  • that video was when i was playin junior AAA the newer remix is my college tape... check that out... alil faster and heavier too

  • y does the goalie kick his foot up wen he stops

  • the drill is just a pure movement drill so thats why the shots are always in the same spot other drills if you look at my other uploads encompass everything including breakaways and hard angle shots... and as for the heel... ive had many coaches in years teaching me how to t push and only to one side does my heel come up because of how i was taught for afew years... its a weird habbit

  • @Oking29 it happens to me too. orginally i didnt do it but after i was doing it i was stopping quicker and harding while doing t pushes. it can leave me off balance sometimes but i usually control it

  • he shoots the hole time on the same place!! there is noting difficulte!!

  • its a drill to work on form not to score

  • @Cr3ck3er its more of a muscle memory drill.

  • I see!!

  • so funny wip out losser jk lol

  • lol wipe out

  • During the first set of pucks, watch his right foot, how he does a little mini kick sort of thing, must be a personal habit or something haha. :D great goalie, and quick

  • It's interesting how on your t-pushes you drag your back foot to help you stop. It causes you to open up for a split second.

  • what size are this pads?what is your height?

  • the pads i got for my university team are 35+2.5 and im 6 foot 1

  • @Oking29 im 5'8"-9" 32" or 34"? please get back to me so i dont get the wrong size!

  • being a 5'9" guy id tell you to max your sizing... im 6'1" im wearing reebok revokes now that are 35+2.5... so with a rise id say to go for a 33+2 if you have the option to do it...if not look at stock +1 sizing which is pretty standard now and make your choice from there we have a guy on our team whos 5'9" and hes wearing 34's but at that height depending on ur ankle to knee heigh id say a 33 would be more legit homie

  • It all depends on your atk, i know people that are about that size using 32" some even using 35". Right now im 5"9, and im using a 34"+1", but if your done growing, i would go with a 33+2 or +3 if you can find any. Imo, i like to upsize my pads a bit more then other goalies, so just find what evers comfortable for you:D

  • looking good.. just water your five hole closure when b-fly sliding

  • lol nice wipeout at the end bra

  • nice pads

  • the first drill you looked good but you should follow your rebounds... maybe ask your coach to change the drill so that it goes both ways... if the rebound goes right you follow and go right.. then slide back to middle and if rebound goes left or right again you follow etc etc good form though kid

  • in stead of the goalie moving first you should have tha shooter shoot and tha goalie react it will help you out alot better

  • not in a training situation

  • your really good man :) i look up to you :P

  • good rebound control (Y)

  • The Instructor (shooter) is one of the best Instructors my son has ever had, his name is Dustin Traylen. His drills are top notch!!

  • WELL DONE, man!! AWESOME effort!

  • Kirkland NTR?

  • The guy shooting is actually a goalie, look at 2:18 he's wearing goalie skates.

  • yah hes my goalie coach... these vids are for movement purposes... and if you also noticed the whole drill hes using a yellow synergy from like 1993

  • Good Job!

  • nice fall no im just kiddin i do that alot except its when im warming up for practice with shuffles

  • dawg your nasty, what birth year are you?

  • Im an 88 bud... just finished my last season in Junior AAA and im looking at Unis for next year

  • Sick, were you play? and is that NTR thats norht of Toronto, Richmond Hill i believe?

  • no its NTR in montreal boss

  • solid bail eh ha... dustiest caught edge in the league

  • are you drafted? you look sick!!
