  • omg its gonna take like 10 minutes to eat one peeled grape

  • i wonder if it can slice a tomato

  • soooo precision!!! is it used for eye surgery?

  • i hear this has caused quite an upset in the grape peeling community.

  • assembly line for humans

  • WANT!!!! (peeling oranges sucks)

  • i want one .... actually nah i dont

  • Seedless, Skinless, Soulless

  • @kirantsh this machine isnt suposed to peel fruits.... It's suposed to be used in surgery. they're just showing how it works. GOSH some people are so fucking stupid...

  • have ever heard of something known as a joke ?? !!

oh nd btw i knew tis was used in surgery jackass !!

  • @ShonenJump90 I h8 it when ppl think they are too smart when in reality they are not

so go ask your mother why she gave the world yet another misery !!

After that if you feel like doing the world a big favor go to the 15th floor of some building and jump off

  • @kirantsh look in the mirror. You even removed your own comment. Loser.

  • @ShonenJump90 Dude when i look in the mirror i see a successful young man

but what do you see when you look in the mirror ? oh wait can you even afford one ??

    btw i didnt remove !! dont know what happened ! ? :(

  • Oh hell yeah. Finally, porn specifically for me. Never thought id find it....

  • isn't this kinda old?

These machines have been peeling patients since 2000.

  • someone better have eaten the damn thing after

  • sorry folks, but I've been peeling my grapes all by myself since ever ! …

  • is it auto or controlled?

  • Humm this is clearly for laparoscopic use. Interesting.

  • for when your kid goes to school and you want to make him a fresh lunch, while you are at home!

  • I think this is quite strange.

  • this is srs business guys. if u pierce the grape, the juices escape killing it.

  • we have more of a chance than a robot apocolypse than we do zombie but zombies would be awesome but sadly robot had a more likely chance of happening and if this happens the robots can make more of themselves

  • Where's the robot?

  • that looks like an expensive orange peeler

  • @bigwilliestyleable The word "overkill" comes to mind.

  • The way of the future

  • Title is misleading, There is no autonomic robot in action. This process is similar to a human guided prosthesis.

  • @Yallno22 Robots can be autonomous, semi-autonomous or remotely controlled.

  • @azpandaman This maybe true however in the video clip, a human with robotic prosthetic extension peels a grape.

  • @Yallno22 As I said, a robot can be remotely controlled; as in this instance.

  • @azpandaman As I said, There is no autonomous robot in action.

  • I just realized that I watched a video that is 1 minute and 24 seconds, of a grape being peeled...

  • All the people watching this is fuckin stupid

  • i dont think i can wait that long to eat a grape =/

  • YES NOW I DON'T HAVE TO PEEL GRAPES ANYMORE!!!

  • Really this is where money is going these days to building robots that can peel grapes Americas future is looking bright :/

  • Next thing -Skynet !!!

  • LOL WUT?

  • Can it peel carrots faster than me ?

  • Exactly what nobody needed a Robot to do.

  • @whatisahumans they are showing it as a demonstration, this robot will operate on people in the near future

  • @whatisahumans this i just meant to demonstrate how delicate of tasks this robot can fulfill, not that it was maid to peel grapes...

  • rename the video "black guy peels a grape (using a fancy machine)"

  • to bad the musics gay Trolololololo

  • LMFAO @ all these "well there go our jeeoooobbs" Yeah because the human controlled robotic arm grape peeling industry are really stabilizing the economy right now.

  • This is a little misleading... It's a human controlling a device peeling a grape. The robotic arms are clearly not in control or making the complex decision making required to peel the grape.

  • I still would prefer to have a human surgeon before a robot.

  • Wow! Nice! Now 1 million to go...

  • wow what an accomplishment in the scientific world.

  • now make me a sandwich

  • Wow, i didn't even know grapes could be peeled

  • It should eat it afterwards.

  • SkyNet is practicing basic functions.

  • but will it blend?

  • they had this in house

  • Awsome.this is what they use in surgery in hospitals

  • in soviet russia, robot peel you

  • @Quy4life not funny but nice try

  • man it would be a lot easier to peel it by hand.

  • @anarkey42 It's delicate hand will help on surgery, so it is tested on fragile stuff, go figure.

  • In the future, robots like these will help disaster victims.

  • i would have had it peel something useful like a banana...

  • oh man this is so incredible! Robots will eventually replace almost any job (too bad they won't replace politicians :/ )

  • @Lius525 You assume robots will replace every job based on the fact that one can peel a grape?

  • @Nijokaz no, first this is a process thats been going on for last 200 years (although most people wouldn't consider assembly line or coffee maker as a "robot", they still are), second I am fan of robotics, so I have quite a knowledge on what they will be able to do in next 50 years - well only if moore's law will continue to be true, because this is all about computing power - it takes a very good CPU to calculate how to "peel" the grape (not saying software is not amazing)

  • @Nijokaz for example: 10 years ago average (desktop) computer had computing power of an insect brain, now it is as smart as mouse and in just 15 years it will be as smart as human brain (and 20 years after that average computer will be as smart as entire humanity - not kidding lol) - we would be never able to built something like this 10 years ago because hardware couldn't analyze so many things at once - so you can just imagine how much more will they be able to do in next 10 years)

  • @Lius525 i guess your right but in the end its been told to peel the grape, and until it does that because it wants to or whatever I don't believe Robots will ever be smarter than humans. But I guess it depends on your definition of smart. Creativity Vs. Recalling Programmed Facts.

  • @Lius525 This means: Less jobs. Bad economy. Yeah we'll be fucked even worse.

  • @steenkypeet not rly, this is happening since industrial revolution and we always to managed to find a different way, different jobs etc - you can't stop the progress (well Soviet Union tried that by having 5 year plans and not reflecting what market wants and after fall of soviet union it showed how much backward their economy was when jobs that were done by 10 people in first world were done in SU by 100 people etc)

  • @Lius525 You realize it isn't operating by itself, right?

  • @azpandaman oh... I tought this was one of those that work by themself...my bad :D (then why is "robot" on the title ffs? This is more like mechanized tool, not robot, robots work by themsels (with internal software) )

  • @Lius525 Instead they will be programmed to exterminate politicians.

  • @Lius525 or will they?

  • @Lius525 most politicians are already robots - they are remote controlled by big corporations, banks and special interests ! who knows of one not bought up and really working on principles ?

  • @Lius525 lol, couldnt agree more :)

  • So what's up with the guy getting a head massage?

  • if robots are going to take over the medical field...then why am i studying to be a doctor? :/

  • @killerE92 to control them in the future and a robot doesnt know everything nor does it see as you do .

  • @killerE92 because that robot is a surgery tool, not a doctor who knows science. gl with med school D:

  • @killerE92 to be the guy at 1:10?

  • @NikaziO14 fuck that

  • In 2020 they'll be peeling your eyes.

  • @dripz167 they already do! eye lazer surgery

  • @piersremus I meant without human assistance ;)

  • T@dripz167 They already do its called LASIK eye surgery :D

  • @jjgdog5614 I meant when they're self aware D:

  • @dripz167 ironic 2020 lol 20/20 vision ;P

  • @WangoReads Haha, wow I never thought of that!

  • @dripz167 2020? They are using it already.

  • @dripz167 thank you for that comment. it amused me greatly.

  • @MasterShake43 Glad I can add some humor on your youtube session.

  • this is neat but please use a better camera next time!

  • THAT IS ONE EXPENSIVE GRAPE PEELER.. LOL

  • ohh nothung new i can do that and even faster

  • dey took mah job >:[

  • @OmgThisGuy hahahaha

  • FINALLY! I hate peeling my own grapes.

  • good thing they're working on this and not a cure for cancer that would have been a waste

  • The robot isn't peeling the grape. The human operator was peeling the grape. The robot is just mimicking his actions. This technology has been around for quite some time. It's used frequently with prostate cancer removal of lymphatic tissue which prevents spreading of cancerous cells.

  • That's crazy... I wanna have one of em at home.... I wanna peel a perfect apple....

  • simply amazing!

  • I would Never let that thing touch me

  • i thought it said robert

  • hmm but if it is being controlled by a person... what is the point... couldn't that person just do the surgery? am i missing something?

  • @TheMufflicks Well eventually they will have made a code for it to do the surgery by itself. But right now you could use it to have the a surgeon in the United States work on some guy in Australia. Or you could use it to do surgery on a person with an contagious disease without the need to wear a suit and mask. Or you can use it to do surgery on an Astronaut in the space station.

  • @100101010101010100 ok i guess i see what youre saying, but (a) dont they have surgeons in australia? (b) so they made a robot arm to replace a plastic suit?? and (c) well.... that would just be awesome, i dont have a rebuttal for the space one lolz

  • @TheMufflicks Maybe the guy in Australia needs a high risk brain surgery that only a hand full of people in Germany can do? Why fly the patient thousands of miles when a doctor can just log into the machine over the internet.

Robot arm to replace plastic suit? No how about robot arm to replace a human that can make errors or transmit diseases and that wants a paycheck at the end of the week. Machines already build and drive cars better than us. We should have them do better surgeries.

  • @100101010101010100 or the doctor could just fly.. why would you fly a sick patient lol... oh and also computers (and robots), much like humans, are not infallible fyi. ultimately i was just kidding around, the robot arm is incredible but it still seems like its at a "if it's not broke why fix it" sort of stage. i mean, at this point, it's going to probably be cheaper (albeit not cheap) to fly the doctor to the patient rather than paying for robo-surgery. wow i've never ran out of characters bef

  • @TheMufflicks

You still get a lot of advantages from using this machine. Quickly operate from across the country or around the world, more precise than a human doctor, and the procedure is a less invasive. da Vinci has already been used to treat certain conditions for years. There has been some criticism towards the price, though.

  • COOL!

  • Up next...robot cracks a nut. yee haw.

  • I smell a bunch of layoffs in the surgeon department

  • That's just cool.

  • damn... imagine that thing in the dentist office.. now going to the human dentist isnt so bad lol. that things scary

  • @AAmotocrossAA Put several surgeons, and other doctors out of a job they spent hundreds of thousands of dollars, and years of their lives to get, out of a job?

  • next time..Robot give a hand job

  • cool, but will it make me a sandwich?

  • Scalpel... Oops get me a sponge

Sponge... Oops send in the robot

    Robot... Oops lawyer

  • i know many people said this is for surgery, but can i buy it for grapes? i dun like skins...

  • peel a grape? CHECK! ready for surgery

  • The cost of surgery just went up 10 fold.

  • WTF why not just have him do it by hand and not waste the money on some robot that does the same exact thing?

  • @MrDiablo5222 Ever heard of outer space? Or how about the artics? These places are not easy to reach, and in case of a medical emergency, if you have one of these neat robots, then all you have to do is call the doc up and get him to perform the surgery via communication devices...........

  • @jmorris6758 Ok yeah that makes sense i was just talking in a normal hospital

  • Don't let this thing do circumcisions.

  • all it has to do know is fis the enominey

  • Medical dramas just got weirder... and pornographic :p

  • Is really not that impressive.

  • Finally something to get rid of grape skin.

  • That guy's gonna be the next Doctor Octopus. And he'll peel your eggs...

  • its funny because he's black

  • pretty sure its supposed to show that it can be used for operations

  • meanwhile in Japan...

  • This is not a robot.

  • It's the surgeon peeling the grape using a robotic manipulator. It;s the man not the machine.

  • fix the title: ROBOT + HUMAN peeling grapes

  • 1:17 prototype face peeler?

  • Oh, the guy is controlling it. No grape peeling robots in Billionaire's homes then.

Still, it's really impressive that a robot can be that precise.

  • Because people illegally downloaded Metallica's music, Lars had to wait 3 weeks before he could afford his second grape peeling robot.

  • billions of dollars wasted for this robot to peel a GRAPE?

    YOU've gotta be kidding me

  • @nosupa Hahaha are you guys that dumb? This robot is built for unmanned surgery and is getting tested by peeling a grape, would you honestly test a robot on a human and have if mess up because it wasn't tested first?

  • @NightmareWolf331 This robot is actually controlled by the surgeon, been in use since 2005 I believe.

  • @nosupa it was made for surgery. Peeling a grape is a test

  • @lucasB823 oh okay? thnx

  • @nosupa Peeling the grape is just a test. It's probably a robot designed for surgeries or for delicate engineering. Stupid.

  • @bestnameever13 i was liking what you said until. You called me what i am not. "STUPID" calling is full of STUPIDITY just letting you know.

  • COME JOIN THE RISING COMMUNITY!!!!!!!

  • boring. where are the cyborgs?

  • What happend to just peeling a grape?

  • What happend to judt peiling it?

  • O_o that's where my tax dollars are going?

  • OHHH SHIT OMG OMG I JUST SHITTED A BRICK OMFG AHHHHHH DID THAT ROBOT..........PEEL A GRAPE OHHH FUCK!

"Not a single fuck was given that day"

  • Wow, imagine what could be achieved with this robot, surgeries would be easier.

  • Fake and gay

  • @PedroPistons people who quote rwj are fucking tools

  • You're all idiots. Really. More than 97 percent of you all feel that its main purpose is to peel grapes. I've also heard: "Nothing special, a human controls it" and "Millions of people are dying of diseases, and they make a robot that peels grapes?" Well, ladies and gentlemen, you are all mentally incapacitated. This is a tool that allows surgeons to operate on humans with extreme precision. Robots will never be capable of diagnosing an improvisational event. So fuck you, fags.

  • people are dying every day of diseases and scientists decide to spend their time peeling a grape? that makes sense

  • @bowlsocereal

wow you arrogant fools , this is a demonstration

to show how precise mechanic cutters can be before incorporated into future medical procedures

once fully developed these machines will help surgeons conduct surgeries that human hand won't be able to do and it also reduces tremors.

    this is a great accomplishment

  • @superdahoho you my friend are a dumb ass. we are not arrogant, we just have a sence of humor is all. only the dumbest of people would think that think machine was actually built to peel grapes.

  • @J0sh9175

    jokes on you dumbass

check the comment I replied to before you make a statement

in no way was that an attempt at being humorous

  • Well mister robot....thats an awfully big kitchen....
