Looks incredibly beautiful - and what a wonderful touch that real tear-jerking 'extra' is at 2.18 - 2.24! Remember Mark Twain had not been dead 10 years when this was made. Wonder when we get to see it in the UK?
The film apparently marked the movie debut of the lovely Esther Ralston one of the most beautiful actresses of the Silent Era, and Classic Hollywood in general. Anytime a new restoration is done of a big budget Silent film it is noteworthy. And here you have the legendary director William Desmond Taylor. Who is much better known for his Murder, than his movies today. Great to see some of his work actually surface.
