Joe Morello Master Studies - The Way it Should Be Played

Really? Joe had many years to do this, had he wanted to, between the time Master Studies was published and the time he passed away...And you were presumably available (and local!) during all those years.. It could have been included in a subsequent printing, no? If Joe was so keen on this, why didn't that ever happen?  Or, alternatively, why didn't you publish this video during Joe's lifetime?

Wow! Looks like somebody's been practicing! Just kidding. That is amazing. I would ask what you're doing w/your left hand to play those strokes so fast, but I doubt you'd be able to explain in a little box on youtube. I have a pretty good idea. For me, it's just a matter of working up to that tempo. I'll be coming back to this video again. Thanks for sharing!
