Great cover, Jesse! There's only one thing that really irked me. It seemed like you lost the spirit of the song, the way you didn't change the lyrics at all. I think the song is so popular because while it's catchy, it is also 'not the norm' for a girl to sing about lesbian experimentation. By keeping the original lyrics, it just sounds like you cheated on your girlfriend, then kissed a girl for the first time. It almost makes no sense. I think it would have been better if you tweaked the

Of course, the obvious would be 'I kissed a boy...hope my girlfriend don't mind it' but even 'I kissed a girl...hope my boyfriend don't mind it' would have fit.
