they do brush before the race in certain parts of the course but a race is between 4 and 6 laps so last over an hour an half or so its just gona get dirty with leaves and so on
some men become doctors knowing the consequences or risks of killing someone. some men are born to race, knowing that dying in the race is just part of the race.
Noticed that Ian Hutchinson had gone to Honda, and now holds the record, 131.32 mph average for the track on a Honda Fireblade 1000rr. :) I ride a 929, but not like these guys..incredible..Love it! I will see this race, and run the track before I die..(not run as in race...but ride it..:) The bikes are good, but some of these riders make them awesome!
its called GP shift, you can change your road bike the same way, i know a few people that have done it they recon it fells much better once you get used to it
theres 2 sizes of engine the use these days. 600 and 1000s. this is the superstock 1000cc race. Superbike race and the senior are the 2 big races on the superbikes
wanna see a guy who has more balls than brains when it comes to racing throught the streets, cuting in and out of traffick at 200mph+ type in ghost rider last ride
first off, ghost rider may have balls but balls are nothing when you are that stupid. its one thing to ride fast and risk your own life- i think almost every sport rider does it on a regular basis, but to risk others, is just stupid and immature. imagine killing a mother, father, or a child. how fucking terrible would you feel? i have no respect for guys who race on populated roads.
Ghostrider was a former professional racer as well, specifically in motocross and then streetbikes, that is why he is so good, although he never really made it big.Why he took his skills to the street and risks his life and others-that I dont know. But guys like John McGuinness and David Jefferies(RIP) have MUCH more skill and technique and are true professional riders.Road and track racing are totally different.
The Greatest test of man and machine in the world, the guys who race the Isle of Man TT are the most courageous racers ever. 37 miles of country roads at speeds of up to 206mph, lapping at 130mph in a time of under 18mins, stone walls, trees, kerbs, telegraph poles, phone boxes these guys have balls of steel and some have paid the ultimate price. No form of track racing comes near, this is as close to lifes limit as you can get. Rossi Doohan or any circuit racer couldnt match this for Bravery!!!
this is pretty much the same but more chance of a cemetry. Used to go every year with the J.D motorcycles team untill that fateful day at tandragee when J.D was killed

I'm not really into racing (at all) but this video is crazy. The riders must all be part ninja (on the mother's side)..
The helicopter shots really show the speed too.
Insane!

Dont forget about the Macau GP. With all the guardrails and walls. If you crash you have 2 choices, hospital or cemetery.
