You got it. Dot on shaft went tits up and became carparelli (craparelli). They are just offshore korean garbage sold for 2-3 times what they are worth. Stay away from them. They are just entry level filth.
@BOULDERDP Get your facts straight, Mike Carparelli stands behind DOS the same as Carparelli, the "name" change was politics not economics... and these guitars are sweet... some minor hardware issues as noted above but nicer than guitars costing 3 times as much... I own the same guitar he is working on....
@meritz59 minor hardware issues? a bent bridge is not minor. This guy maybe drunk working on the guitar but thats appropriate since a drunk korean built the guitar. It's just entry level beginner crap made to look good and sold for much more than it is ever worth.
That quilted maple is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely worthy of much better hardware installation at the factory level. It took your genius and a bottle of Wild Turkey to turn this guitar into a real winner! Might just become a collector's item someday. (Remember the old Sears Silvertone guitars made out of fiberboard with the amp in the case?) They're commanding a good buck these days. Though they were rather clunky, they have a unique sound that's making a comeback. I wish I'd hung onto mine!
that guitar is so beautiful i feel beautiful just looking at it. i wish my brother paid me with wild turkey to dig that pig pen extension shit instead of $10 that i gave my mom. you and your silly video editing i tell ya what.
Thank you for the info. I use something similar to humidify my Japanese shakuhachi bamboo flutes. Without humidity they fall into worthless shreds. I have two vintage Ovation guitars that need a drink too. Since they are mostly plastic I guess I never thought much about humidity for them. Thanks again and have a great holiday season!
very beautiful guitar. I am really enjoying this sub I've gotten for you! Tomorrow Dave! You will see the unboxing video of my AGILE 8 STRING MUAHAHAH! I'll have to go take it to get set up though. and tell them it has a 16" RADIUS not 15 or 17 :)
@davey4557 Well on your Agile! WTF video, you said it had a 16 radius where as the website said 15. And I said it was 15 in the comments and you corrected me! So I'll try to remember to give you a shoutout in the unboxing video today!
that chord x30003 must be the most annoying chord in the world...
