  • This helped a lot thanks!

  • Is it the same deal for the SS supercharged?

  • @Xunethqualn It would probably be different, but I'm not sure. I don't know anyone who has an SS.

  • Great video. Very informative!

  • wow great video, i have a 07 Cobalt as well the SS, and i thought it was going to be tough,

thanks for the video. hope i do it the right way and not screw up lol

  • @gabebokmaUSMC Good Luck :)

  • Orrrrrr even better: Just remove the cover and chuck it in the corner of your garage and be done with it...

  • Good video - thx for showing how to remove the engine cover. I wish they woudn't put those on. They look stupid and make extra work. I left mine off.

  • very informative video. thank you for uploading..can u please upload a video for changing the air filter for chevy cobalt.thanks again

  • if you use some cleaner/degresses then use some armoral spray and clean that cover it wont collect dirt as bad. i only have to clean mine every 2 months.

  • i'am thinking about switching to quaker state, can't beat the price at wallmart

  • @harley1450000 Yea I think now pretty much any oil is good as long as you change it frequently. Walmart is by far the cheapest place to buy oil. Too bad they don't carry my AC Delco filter anymore.

  • wrong its 1 inch socket they sell them specifically for that at advance auto buddy!

  • 1 inch won't fit, 32mm or 1 1/4 inch. Maybe some years are different.

  • sry my fault i forgot, it is 1 and 1/4...my fault, anyway...nice to see that you hate the plastic cover too...bad design..lol

  • no problem, I've never understood hiding the engine, I guess they think it looks cleaner.

  • for some reason, with me being under a car makes me nervous with a jack, i would rather use steel ramps to get the front up in the air

  • I can squeeze under the car without the jack its just easier jacked up a few inches. if it happened to fall off the jack it wouldn't hurt me. If I was removing a wheel or was further under the car I would add a jack stand just in case the jack failed.

  • the engine looks better without all that plastic

  • Yea I've thought about leaving it off but it does shield the coil packs from water.

  • I bought mine at O'Rielly Auto Parts.

  • Hey man where can i get that 1-1/4 socket for the oil filter
