@Marvis9111 Resistive touch screen means that it responds to pressure which most Windows Mobile phones have excluding the HD2. Capacitive touch screen which all iPhone + Android phone have, use the static of your fingers meaning that it is more touch friendly (multitouch) and responsive.
In my opinion resistive touch screens are barely useable, and no phones as of today should have a resistive touch screen. Took Microsoft forever to finally realize this.
i got this phone.. is ok, the only problems is that i wont play youtube videos....i need the gtet latest flassh player.... i try to download it ,, but no work!!
can u use this phone without a data plan on att like i do my blackberry curve? i know on the website it says requires purchase but it dont say it has to be there for the life of the phone like the iphone does.
I understand the appeal of the touch screens, but it seems to be complicating things. This guy has to use 2 hands to operate it and half the time it doesnt detect his gestures.
And whats with this clock? Everytime he goes to the home screen it rolls forward an hour. His phone cant remember which time zone its in?
right thats what i always want to know. how is the qwerty touch keyboard. well i went to att and checked it out. it was a bit cramped but still usable. im hoping maybe they will release an update that can make it more roomy. idk. they basicaally i tihink it was 2 or 3 lines of space and just used the rest to fill in with the qwerty althought i think they should have just made one emty line to see what ur currently typing and made a roomier qwerty. o well. i do hope the somehow change it.
no they didnt but they give u a converter allowing u to use ur fav head phones. i thinl att figures since we wont use them since we have our own favorites. nice that they give you the converter though
I am by no means an apple fanboy and I was really excited for this but it's 50 bucks less than the 3Gs and doesn't have multitouch or the universe of apps the iPhone does. Shame
actually window mobile have alot more apps than iphone, u just have to look online for them, winmo doesnt lock u into an appstore, so if u find new apps online, u can just straight up get it. i have alot of apps for my omnia, and i never pay a cents for them, microsoft trying to make a market place for winmo, but it just an alternative for me, since u can get many of them for free.
i know there are apps out side of appstore for iphone too, but u have to jail broken them.
I would so go for this phone as my next phone upgrade if Windows Mobile wasnt so bugged!! Well, thats with my experience with WinMo 6 and below, this is 6.5 which I hope no longer has those problems. Phone looks pretty nice.
tilt 2 is coming up later iono if at the end of this year or next year....cuz the recent realese of the pure i think they gonna realese the tilt 2 next year.
Um the tilt 2 is like at&t's version of the touch pro 2 the same way the htc fuze was At&ts version of the touch pro. Also its already out check it out at At&ts website.
How it the touch screen day to day? Because im debating between this and the blackberry 8900. because I dont want to get another touchscreen if it sucks
The 8900 is a great phone that i have had since Feb and i still love it. I havnet had any issues other than the silver around the phone began to chip. Quick fix was to just get a rubber cover. As much as i love my blackberry i just want to try out the Pure. If its not for me then i will just switch back to the 8900. Test them both before you make your decsion...Good luck
Thx for the reply. I was the pure more but im scared that the touch screen might sucks i had the lg vu before and it sucked so i got the b-berry curve 8310 and loved it but ill try the pure first and hope its good...
hahahahha @ 0:36 he said 'If I Tap Dat' lol

what i want to know is whether it has multitouch or the old pressure-sensitive style touch. that's a potential deal breaker for me. does anyone know?
phoenixnyt 2 years ago
its resistive not capacitive meaning yes it it pressure touch not multi touch.
ean7 2 years ago
what a long, boring, and monotone presentation to leave out such basics as the dialer and touchscreen keyboard.
those are two pretty important features that potential buyers will want to know about. You seemed more fixated on the facebook feature
horrible

kcnino1219 2 years ago
Hmm, interesting. The nice screen seems pretty decent, but otherwise, the phone seems like your typical HTC phone.
...which is pretty bad when you consider the upcoming HD2, but I guess the Pure is a nice intermediate phone until the HD2 comes up.
