  • Haha the first part is called Dugga-Burrs, we play it as my High School warmup.

  • The center snare in that video (Alex Gross) gives me snare lessons.

  • yeah colin

  • yep so bass 1 is deffinitly hot!!!!

  • Bass 1 is hot. Just sayin.

  • @ItsToadSucka have some respect for women ps i wish i was dave still

  • @MrBroschak I do have respect for women. I was just saying that she's a good looking girl. geez

  • Wow, just amazing.

  • Colin Mcnutt going crazy at the begining "play in time...get the balance".

  • that guy has one of the most flexible left writst i've ever seen

  • you tell em colin

  • thats the first time ive ever seen the cadets stop in the middle of a rep. ever ever ever.

  • Yea its not to bad at the night you just spray them with febreeze and let them dry out and its all good hahaha.

  • ha i love colin mcnutt yelling

  • 1 2 3 4 2 2 3 4 STEP

  • LOL I love that part :)

  • actually its 1 2 3 4 2 2 3 4 1 2 step. its on three.

  • Random thought...how come they all have the same shorts all of the time? I know laundry day isn't every single day so I wonder how many pairs of those shorts they have with everyone and everything O.o that's a lot of shorts

  • we had 2 different pairs. most of us brought them in the shower with us and washed them there. they are made of a material that dries easily

  • really? when did you march cadets? That's cool, did you wear them in the shower? I know this probably uncommon but group showers and I don't mix...a phobia of mine, that'd be the one thing that would get me if I were in a corps

  • i marched 06/07 yeah i wore em in the shower most of the time, its prolly the most convenient way to wash them

  • yo did you go a guy named john?

you he marched snare 07 08 lol

you guys probably called him tirado tho

  • any particular reason why yall count the numbers of ur rest?

  • we learn those counts when we learn the music. The rests are just as part of the music as the beats are. so externalizing the rests helps everyone feel the beat at the same time audibly so that the feet can be ligned up.

  • yea i understand the importance of the actual rests. but i was just wondering why yall actually say, "one two three four" instead of dutting all the rest. just something i noticed

  • were excecuting the music exactly as its written on the page. every height, every dynamic we are supposed to remember and go after. we all verbalize the rests for a few reasons; because its easy to remember and sometimes people get lost, and thats the way we learned it so we wouldnt lose our place in a VERY loud corps ensemble atmostphere... when youve got 40 seconds of rest, its easy to forget which measure you left off on... and the season comes along, why fix it if it aint broke?

  • Honestly with most lines, the same shorts are worn every day. When I marched, we ordered 2 pairs per person, but most of us saved one pair away as a keepsake (because anything you wear gets ridiculously faded being in the sun all day) and wore the other pair every day.

  • Where did you march man?

  • crown

  • That's awesome man :) i wish my legs weren't crappy so i could march haha. My hands probably aren't good enough either :)

  • dude thats sick!! I freakin love crown so much!!

  • Comment removed

  • wtf...? they start on the right

  • Yea....I meant to say that....my bad....

  • @Ridebmx34521 yes.... they are the cadets....

  • @Moog167 Wow... fail.

  • is that tom aungst, and ?colin mcnutt?

  • no.... thats colin mcnutt (with the hat on) and stan moore (our quad tech 06 07 ?08?)

  • this is awesome. they're so gooooddd

  • well...how bout tht bass 1

  • What about her? She is wicked good.

  • I think he was saying Melanie is hot lol

  • hey im a bass 1 :D

  • dude i want some of those cool shorts do u have to be on cadets to have them?

  • yeah

  • That tempo is straight fast as hell. And then the instructor is like, "don't rush" if they were to rush this part they would be in some serious trouble. lol

    Awesome Stuff!

  • i ment ripplet didle with 16th notes

  • haha wtf it sounded like they were playin triplet didle at the begining of thier book

  • Amazingly amazing, but... why do they all have their shirts off?

  • Drum + lots of notes + summer heat + lots of moving = very very very hot and sweaty.

  • Yeah, true that...

  • what kind of question is that?

  • haha i knwo right?!? its frickin drum corps!

  • cadets don't get drums but They sure do have one of the hardest book....

  • they always play triple everyones notes, which is sick, but i prefer more interesting phrasing, like what the bluecoats and blue devils have been offering, still, they are clean, and its definitely a hard book.

  • do they really have the roll exercise in the show like that? It sounds cool. Basic exercise (check roll check roll check check roll roll) then all of the sudden they go off into crazy stuff. I like it like that!

  • no its not in the show... mcnutt has this thing with playing an exercise that leads into the show music my vid of the snare sectional shows them play a trip diddle exercise and then go into show notes

  • Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me

  • cool... thanks for posting this
