Awsome song. The Stones' reply to Sgt Pepper although there is no comparison. The Beatles were always two steps ahead of everyone. Sgt Pepper was the greatist of all time!!!!!

@80sHeavymetalthebest Exactly: TSMR on repeat thats what saved me and guided me -36 years from now A VERY nice exp. But this is a very freaky drug- it starts where other drugs end...so be careful out there : )
I remember falling down on the ground while trying to put on this record after i listened to pink floyd`s "The wall" album.
"Their satanic majesties" Started playing .. i fell on the ground and i was laying there for 2 hours straight , the album was on repeat and it felt as if the album lasted like forever.
I lost it .. but it was a good experience .. so listen to this record if youre ever gonna do psychedelics ..
I loved this album when it hit the market, but Stone loyalists hated it. Back then, everyone was producing a "psychedelic" album. Even a soul band -The Chambers Brothers, came out with "Time has come today."
My favorite Stones song. I'm probably projecting, but I feel this song carries over the emptiness Brian Jones must have felt as Jagger and Richards gradually took his band away from him.
"Bell flight 14 you now can land. See you on Aldebaran, safe on the green desert sand. It's so very lonely, you're 2000 light years from home..." Awesome song from the Stones!
Love the stones favorite band ever! And this one album and this song is really fucking good! I think this song is way more psychedelic than anything on sgt peppers and I am freaking out cUse infeel 2000 light years from home! *______*
This song is so awesome. If you never did it tripping, go get a tab now... You will be at least 2000 light years from home. Oh? Did I rip that phrase off? Wow, man, I thought I invented it. . . pass me the doobie... Oh?! I've got it - wow, dude. . . that shit must be stronger than I thought... great shit, man!
intemporel........teh first time i heard "their satanic majestie..." i was 14 years old and.......ouah!!! brian jones was a magician!! between the dark and the light!!!
My favorite, and yes, I did drop a tab or two back then.

It's hard to believe this is the same band that will record Jumping Jack Flash and Beggar's Banquet. Then again 1967 produced a lot worse than this.

May I recommend the book 'A Pop Revolution, the transatlantic music scene 1965 to 1969' by the invisible man. The author is a big fan of this track.

The best Stones song ever, better than all the others that allude to all the women he has fucked, or any drug related songs.

Yes. In deed. Multiple times. Was distracting but the mortar for a foundation too.
Good to have the Stones along with so much else 'back then'.
Like Wavy Gravy said: 'we were right ... I regret nothing.' God Bless All.

One of my top 5 favorite Stones songs. As sinister and psychedelic as anything from the late 60s. Musically it's just fantastic.
