@sandfiredevin do as the mission says complete the pit then leave and it will ask you what difficulty you would like then choose veteran keep hitting yes, then proceed to the jeep. Hope this helps!

modern warfare 2 veteran was nothing compared to world at war veteran. the enemies were much smarter, if you were behind cover, tons of grenades would be coming, i know you mentioned it in the video ;)

need a bit of help, i scored veteran on my first playthrough of SSDD, but i wanted to play on normal my first plaaythrough, so i put it on normal.

now im going back and doing it on veteran but it doesn't let me change the difficulty of the SSDD mission, its stuck on normal. how do i switch it? (it dosnt let me switch it like the other missions, i've beaten them all except SSDD)

there's only one "difficulty" to SSDD... it's just a test.

Depending on how quick you run the pit you'll get a recommended difficulty for the whole game. Obviously you can change that though...

Online is laggy as fuck on iwnet that's all I can tell you. Plus the game is locked at 65 FOV which is a fucking travesty. I play quake normally... going to 65 FOV and monster lag, no way. This game will have no online community, atleast not on the PC that's all I can tell.

So you bet your ass this is hyped for single player.

@MrLaughandgrowfat A little update on the FOV65 fiasco, there is a fix for it, find the config.cfg file (its in different places depending on version, but google solves that) add these lines (open it with notepad):

set developer "1"

set sv_cheats "1"

set thereisacow "1337"

bind M "cg_fov 90"

Then press M ingame.

Also, people already have some early prototypes of working dedicated servers that bypass IWNet, just incase people like beer baron are interested. So keep searching the net for that.

i'd say the story is always intense the first time through, but after that it isn't worth much. the multiplayer is also not looking that good especially with the massive amount of support you can get; therefore there is cheap kills and frustrating deaths.

Single player I would give 3 out of 4 stars, but I haven't played multiplayer or more than an hour of spec ops yet.

SP is good, but very short and nothing really blew me away like the COD4 SP story did. Overall I was disappointed with SP, but it's hard to give such a well polished game a negative review.
