  • mason is a badass. he needs his mustache back though!!!

  • I think Roger Waters sex appeal is underrated

  • the most captivating , musical , mesmerizing drum solo ever

  • electric guitar guy loves himself

  • David was "THE SOUND" of Pink Floyd. The FACT he wrote the Final 2 Albums without Waters also shows he was the Heart of the Band.Dont forget,"On an Island" went #1 World wide.Waters has never approached that by hisself. Not even close.

  • @DaytonaGary in waters's defense, topping charts and turning profits was not really his "aim" with any of his solo work.. good music is personal expression, not fitting demographics.

in the words of David Gilmour: "Art must be completely selfish, the fact that others enjoy it is simply a bonus"

    :)

  • waters can blow, what a cry baby. saw momentary lapse of reason in the late 80S and gilmore kicked butt

  • fantastico

  • Interesting that Mason is turned (away) from Waters.

    Very interesting indeed!

  • @aberdown He's only turned away to hit the roto toms for the song. It is in plain sight.

  • Nick Mason easily has the most sophisticated playing style in an extremely fun yet simple way; Nick Mason can hold his head high amongst the likes of Bonham, Moon, Peart, etc. just as long as he brings his mustache ;).

  • hey, the song was not over yet, despite that last line...

  • FYI folks.......Richard Wright wrote this song.........Jeeze, how old are you people?.....maybe 14 or so.

Anyway just another FYI for you people almost all Floyd songs were colaberations within the group however there are on some albums more of one artists imput than on other...EG Waters and The Final Cut.

  • @jaytduce Richard Wright didn't write Time other than as part of the group. You might be thinking of Us and Them which he did write the music for.

  • @vipersdragband He did sing it , so there is a chance he had a big part in it

  • @brb0713 He did sing what? He sang back up on Us and Them and also swapped a few vocals on Time, but Wright didn't do lead on either...

  • You really seem like an angry Floydian , that makes me think you just try to argue so you can argue , maybe you should try out the Bieber Belieber site

  • STILL FUCKIN AMAZING

  • no David = FAIL

  • i`ts simply!!!! (syd) waters, gilmour, wright and mason wuuauuu!! PINK FLOYD just PINK FLOYD!!!!! , PINK FLOYD FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!!!

  • get that head bobbing clown pussy with fuckin curley hair playing guitar off the stage

    immediatley

only Gilmour can play this song

  • @joeysmokesz195 Gilmour can play it, but he sure as hell could NEVER have written it.

  • @joeysmokesz195 He's a great guitarist; anyone who knows anything about music will tell you the same thing-- and, BTW, Roger wrote the song, so he and his band can play it as often as they like.

  • @dufortrph I assume that Roger wrote a music or guitar solo for this song ?

  • @msaric10 He did write the music, dickhead. Listen to his demo - the chords and song structure are there. Of course he didn't write the guitar solo.

  • @dufortrph yes the song structure is there, I heard it 100 times, but than here are David and Richard who polished it along with Roger... all that songs would not sound that good without David and Richard... and common, the only dickhead that I see here is you

  • Guitarist ruined the whole video for me

  • I don't know why people are slagging on the Guitarist, he's good, David won't play with Roger, its time to get over it.

  • @Rustyshackleford08 You were wrong...:)

  • @PaulBFlydFan

    Yeah I found that out:)

  • i fucking hate people that play solos on tele

    FUCK

and that gay is like sucking an epic dick jesus christ its a fucking guitar fagg

  • hogweed11... is a genius

  • Jon Carin is such a talented musician,. great video. Roger will allways be the creative genius of Pink Floyd. David, Rick And NIck are great too do.

  • great to see nick on the drums but please plese roger dont let dave kilminster do the solos let snowy do them or get doyal bramal II back he is way more authentic that kilminster i think he seems smug when he plays the solos

  • That guitarist needs to go. I know Roger will never play with a someone like David again but this guy dosen't do Pink Floyd well. Let Snowy do the solos, at least he has a history with Pink Floyd.

  • @9mikeb4 i agree wayyy over the top that guy, jeez .....just bad

  • Its nice but...damn I have a stupid feeling when I see some random guitarist or singer making Gilmour or Wright parts...maybe a feeling of a crime

  • I don't feel the sense of these songs unless I see the whole band playing it and unfortunately they are very old and rare I wonder why did not they record in a high quality their old live concerts like the wall and the dark side of the moon, I think We should have got the opportounity to see that.

  • Waters "No one could replace Gilmour", you made a big mistake when you left them

  • I love the way Nick in 2006 would do a couple of gilmours shows in London and then a few of waters shows also. Maybe waters and gilmour should take a leave each from Nick's Book for a change.

  • i'm suprised the guitarist wasn't dressed like a disco ball and hanging upside-down from the ceiling... what a clown.

  • do u know who ur talking about??

D guy i think ur on about is doyle bramhall eric claptons sessions player and the other is snowy white from thin lizzy

  • no my friend he is not doyle bramhall jr.he is dave kilminster a great axeman to!

  • I know He goes totally overboard with the posing ! Good solo though !!!

  • genius!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the solo sounded perfectly fine to me... dunno what the fuss is about

  • What the fuck are you talking about?!?!?!?! In what way he "ruined" the solo?! It's almost identical of the one recorded on the album. If you don't like his "moves" that's one point, but it's very very stupid to say that he ruined the solo. Actually, he played it very well. Even Gilmour sometimes doesn't stick to the original on his live performances. I really can't understand you guys.

  • He played the solo note for note. perfectly.. as good as Gilmour does, tho' it didn't have the unique Gilmour resonance, but very impressive! No way!! did he ruin it, & his movements showed he played it with soul & passion. I've heard tons of bootlegs where Gilmour goes off the rails playing different versions, some excllent.. some not so good.

  • What is this guitarist??????????????? He 's not in a reality show, flegmatic David Gilmour misses so much............

  • actually nick mason and another drummer is playing at the same time

aong with the rest of the band

  • wtf is the guitarist doing? is he actually jamming to the solo? u cant do that, u have to feel it, its so emotional, he killed it man he killed it

  • i agree Deadman, he killed it, its suppose to be felt not jammed too

  • I understand your point, but every guitarist has his own style where they combine their guitar playing with their ''soul''. And he does it like he's the god. Saw him in Holland. But I must agree with you, David is way better. He is a god.

  • Oh shit, I thought that was a chick playing the guitar for a second.

  • great to see them able to keep playing together

  • strat > tele

  • Nick Mason Rocksss!!!!

  • altos capos los dos

  • who the fuck was that tring to cover richard wrights part? way to ruin it.

  • It's Jon Carin...played for post-Waters Pink Floyd

  • I love Nick's intro

  • Waters is god

  • WTF? who plays the drums on the first ten seconds after the intro... And who is playing that bass fills when roger is singing his las verses???

  • probably backtrack man:)

  • there is a second drummer man:)

  • There is a second drummer (graham broad) and in Time Andy Fairweather-Law always plays bass (so there is a double bass) together with rog.

Nick at rottotom is the best!!!

  • This is not Doyle Bramhall II... this guy is better, but David Gilmour is unique and he's the best. Roger too.

  • I miss Doyle Bramhall II and David Gilmour on this song! Only they can pull this off :D

  • thanks for the post was a great concert i took my son to it he was 15 it was his first ..snowy white on guitar was amazing ,do u remember when the power went off and they were singing perfect sence was soooo great ..thanks again ,,,

  • Waters the genius of PINK FLOYD.

  • Giusto una canzoncina....questi sono i più grandi di sempre.Nessuno regge il confronto.

  • they were all at their best when they were together.

  • Diossss, menudo solo de guitarra!!! tocarlo debe de ser una liberación. Qué bonico Nicki tocando la batería. Amo esta canción.

  • The greatest Lyrics, Music and Solo EVER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • was this from tripped out in cork? because you may want to remove it ASAP!

  • Still enjoy the split singing between Gilmour and Wright. Gilmours guitar has much more emotion, however this was enjoyable.

  • Waters is god! The way he does this song is amazing i like his voice much better but that is my own opinion.

  • In the original fotage 1973 of time u can see that in a part gilmour stops singing for a few secs and u can hear waters voice singing to and pretty well. You can also compare the voice of Shine On... when Waters says You where caught in the crossfire... and it souds like the same vocals in Time. The thing is that Waters sings too in Time

  • nice vid thanks for posting !!! i love all these guys !! not to sure about ! the floppy haired guitarist !!! a bit to metal in his actions for me !! but hey who i'm am I to say !!! check out ukrelicsband on here !! i'm the fat bloke on guitar !! i hope i do a better job than floppy hair !! long live all the floyd !!! regards chris

  • Funny... in the roto-tom intro Mason stood in front of the screen - Waters and the guitarist tried but obviously he didn't hear them...

  • thanks to everyone playing , singing or trying to be Pink Floyd - keep on rocking !!

  • Waters is older than he is, and can't sing anymore.

Comparing the two is pointless anyway.

  • How the hell can you say that??? Musically, Waters is INFERIOR to Gilmour! Who do you think wrote the solos and the catchy licks to most of Pink Floyd's songs? You're a fucking dousche.

  • amen 2 that. roger is a poet, gilmour is a musician. anyone can write and play music but only a real musician can give music a soul.

  • I agree with both of you in that Gilmour is the lifeblood of much of Floyd's music, but Waters was by no means expendable, and I think he led the band and guided Gilmour to be great. Without Waters, Floyd was not the same. But you're right, Gilmour fuckin' rules.

  • Pink Floyd is the greatest band in the world because of all the members. First you have Roger Waters, the most creative writer of all time, who came up with many great ideas for the band. Second, you've got David Gilmour, the best guitarist of all time, and a master vocalist. Rick Wright, the soul and "secret weapon" of Pink Floyd. Nick Mason a very positive friendly funny guy, who has some fantastic fills and deserves more credit than he gets. Don't say one member is better an another.

  • you nailed it man, it couldn't be said any better, p.s nick mason is totally the best most under rated drummer

  • Agreed. One member is certainly not better than another, thats kind of like saying once Roger Waters stops touring, there is no PINK FLOYD. Eeeeeeh, there still is, just not with the original members.

    Thumbs up.

  • @Hogweed11 -You are 101 % correct Floyd is just not one member but a pool of very talented artists who came together and give us the best days of our lives.

  • @Hogweed11 100% agree. All of them are great individually but when you get four strong talents like that working as one then you get something extraordinary. Pink Floyd will forever be one of they greatest bands of all time.

  • @Hogweed11 You forgot the most important part. Syd Barrett. Not only the first songwriter of the band, but even after his departure, his downfall served as the inspiration behind their best work. Dark Side Of The Moon, The Wall, Wish You Were Here, all inspired by Syd.

  • Musically, Gimour was better ,but alone he wouldnt have made it. I mean, Roger's lyrics and concepts were also mastermind

  • I very much agree. I'm not bashing Waters. Brilliant lyricist and THE best conceptual artist, in my opinion. I just think it's silly to say one was better than the other or that Pink Floyd was only possible because of blah blah blah. It's silly. Waters was and will always be an amazing artist, and Gilmour is such an incredible guitarist. He conveys a distinct mood through his guitar work. I think I like Gilmour more as a solo artist. I saw him in LA for his "On An Island" tour. Amazing show!

  • @billbenblue well put man, ive also seen On An Island in Manhattan, i was wise then. was perfect, but ive also see all of floyd together during the Animals tour in 1977 in Oakland. i was a crazy, invincible 16yr old, still learning life

both amazing times but impossible to compare. if i had to choose, id definately relive the 70s Floyd over Gilmour solo.. doesnt change the fact that both were the best two shows anyone could hope to experience in this lifetime. they just always fit perfectly ;)

  • guitarist sucks!,ever seen David Gilmour posing like that?

anyway Waters' voice is different,it fits perfect in some songs but not to this one.Nick Mason is perfect! Legends!

  • Every artist has his/her own style. Not fair to do any comparison. But seems the original's always better.

  • I thought the guitarist did a Phenomenal job!

  • Roger is not a good singer anymore, but the guitarist was all right I must say. You cant be as good as David Gilmour. ;)

  • thnks 4 posting!!! nick and roger rock!!

  • No need for two drummers... if he's going to invite Nick to play the drums then he should not have two drummers. Bad Roger.

  • the guitarist is a dope

  • Yeah. It's true. But the guitarrist DOES suck, and so does Roger singing this. The guitarrist seems more worried about posing and looking good than in playing. And see how Roger has to this... thing, with his neck, to handle the vocals. Not that Gilmour's that better at the vocals, since he's old. But he's better than the guitarrist and Roger :X Gotta admit it...

  • well, naturally of course David Gilmour's singing is better than Rogers on time because he origianlly sung it. But for the condition they are in without the original guitar player and singer...this version is great.

Waters is 63 years old, and has not always been the best singer in the world and ill say that Roger's voice does not fit in with the feel of time.

As for guitar playing, I think it is really good. He sounds alot like Gilmour and his vocals for Rick's part are done well too.

  • its not like GilmourishFan's comment is biased or anything...considering his username is GilmourishFan

  • Hee Hee Hee....

  • umm?? Are there two drummers there?

    Or a backing track?

  • Quem é esse poser na guitarra? Parece uma mariposa. E Roger cantando essa msusica é um saco. Mas é assim... tem gente que nunca sabe parar...

  • If the solo and the vocals didn't suck, it would be great =X
