what do Kraftwerk use to get the REAL DEAL vocoding? Everthing i hear on korg or roland sounds mushy and not that defined........

They say the software lets you tweak the sounds. But does it let you replace samples? For example if I wanted to upload some drum sounds or it only lets you edit the synth patches?

The MS 2000 is pretty impressive, some VERY nice , if not perfect bass sounds there. Pretty diverse too, I agree. I'm still seeking the perfect vocoder....Doepher's is pretty rad.

i like the interface on the original microkorg better, and i wasnt impressed by the sound of the r3 either, i prefer the Ms2000 (synth the original microkorg was based on).
