To be in that course you'd have to know the difference between "sad" and "sadly", or why you gots to have a verb in your sentence, homeboy ;)

In response to 1 polychromatic idiot who left the comment I erased, these students are the best out of hundreds of INTERNATIONAL students who come to study academic English at the best Canadian university. English is NOT their first language, as clearly as it is not yours either. The difference is they graduated from a course taught at an ivy league school, and you're sitting on youtube criticizing them.

Actually, the average entering GPA has decreased the last couple of years. There are some serious questions that Queens has to confront and answer if there are to be considered in an ivy league class again. I'm not saying that they can't do it; it's just a question of whether they have the willingness to try.

By the way, you have a nice manner with your students. If you are careful to not slip into apathy as the years go by you'll have really contributed something very special.
