  • @mayankipsa not quite, he didn't mentioned for ROM production all the transistors are in there because the production process is cheaper, nor why, how the floating gate persists the electrons when turned off

  • on sunlight it would take months or years...the answer is no, teh chip is not constructed for normal UV wavelength...just buy a Eprom eraser on ebay for 30 dollars and youre will be pleased..otherall you have to put them for almost 40 min on UV exposure and u can erase several eproms at the same time
