I have the same saber, but the D-ring on mine isn't that loose. It's tight and doesn't flop back and forth making that noise (like the D-ring on the Vader ANH).... I just bought an the Anakin ROTS Hasbro FX as a gift for someone, and I compared them. Anakin is definitely brighter, but the Luke seems match the movies more as far as color is concerned. Oh, the the Luke ESB takes six batteries....
hey sabian. My esb is very weak in light power like its not even as bright as my anakin aotc which is the weakest in blade color. Yours seems very powerful so idk.
Great review, I managed to get the same saber on Evil-bay a few weeks ago but it has broken LED's in the blade so I will be looking at getting it converted at some point
it was stated in the sale that it had black spots in the blade but I'm not going to argue as it only cost me £52 (about $82) (BARGIN) plus I bought it in oredr for it to be converted in the future anyway
isnt luke's blue lightsaber the same as anakin's from ep3, just the power switch area is a little different? i mean obi-wan gave luke that lightsaber after taking it from anakin when they fought in ep3, so it should be the same one
but the ESB is different to the ANH version as my theory is that Luke did his own mods and maybe repare jobs, as there is ment to be about a 3 year gap between ANH and ESB (just to add to the comment)
The Luke has more individual lights through the blade so due to the white balance it appears to the camera to have more of a 'glow' than the ultrasaber. But trust me, the ultra is brighter and more thoroughly lit.

I was gonna get this one to replace my broken Luke ep. 6 but this one was too expensive so I got the Vader ep. 5

Hopefully Hasbro will release a Luke Skywalker ESB FX Lightsaber.
They have already put out Luke's Lightsabers from ANH and ROTJ.

A few people said when obi-wan went to tattoine he made a few modifications to the hilt so it is different then the anakin lightsaber by a little bit
