I'm 13 and I can feel the bumps where they are. My dentist said that they are coming in crooked and I'm pretty sure that they are too far back. But they don't really hurt that much so idk when I should get them pulled?
i just had to be put on amoxicillan for the bad swelling on my bottom left wisdom tooth it's partially erupted and has kept swelling up for the past 5 -6 months but this time it swelled up and the gum round my second molor swelled aswell and had some infection not sure if it would need to be removed but i can see my wisdom tooth
haha im 15 and im gettin my wisdom teeth out in 2 weeks.... cuz i have to get ortho so yea they are removing them to prevent future complications with orthodontics
i just had my teeth checked. and they said i can keep my wisdom teeth because they are growing in very healthy which is actually unusual. my dad still has his wisdom teeth too.
No, pericoronitis does not subside.. it gets worse.... much much worse.. lol. Take it from me, I just had it ealier in the month and it was one of the worst oral pains that I have ever had in my life. I had to be on amoxicillan (three pills a day for seven days) in order for it to clear up properly.
You don't want to leave something like that untreated or uncleaned out properly either to risk it turning into some sort of gum disease.
Mmmm mine were minitored for years and because of the stupid rules set out be the NHS in the UK the probkems stacked up and then at 44 i have had to go through the awful extractions when I would maybe have coped better when I was younger. These teeth are nothing but a pain in the ass. Even when you practice excellent oral cleaning they trap food and are hard to clean. Mine were through but kept causing swelling for years. Good riddance to them. It's not just about money.
"Far fewer wisdom teeth are now taken out than in the past. If the tooth is not causing problems, your dentist will not want to remove it. They will only remove wisdom teeth: -when it is clear that they will not be able to come through into a useful position because there is not enough room, and they are also causing some pain or discomfort -
if they have only partly come through and are decayed - such teeth will often decay as it will be difficult to clean them as thoroughly as your other teeth -if they are painful." Source British dental association
no thats not right... its just so they can get your money. Im having problems with wisdom teeth at the moment, however in the UK our dentists monitor them, and if they start moving or being a nuisance they get pulled, otherwise they stay. My sister was monitored, and hers came out fine, and she avoided surgery, me on the other hand i am struggling.. so it looks like only 1 will need to get pulled. And secondly, you do use your wisdom teeth.. its all a clever marketing ploy for your money.
This female here is lying. She is a Repeater. Repeating what she has 'learned'. If she has learned lies, as in this case, she repeats the lies as the gold truth. Understand? It's all BS.
The vast majority of people Never have a problem with their wisdom teeth, but oral surgeons spend so much money on school by the time they are out they feel they have to convince THE WORLD that we need their medical services. EEEHT wrong. they are money hounds. liars and theives. mass manipulators

So if your wisdom don't Cause pain then you don't need them pulled. Only if they begin causing pain ?

funny i chew with all my 4 wisdom teeth, no cavities, maybe some stains. but i love them, no problems.
of course everyone will get their wisdom teeth pulled, when the dentist is like do it now or 30 years from now you'll regret it lyke omgz0rs.
relax, unless they're causing pain in the here and now, don't get them pulled. they just lookin for their bonus.

You don't have to pull out your wisdom teeth. Dentists just want your money.
