  • Beautiful version of this songs, thanks heaps!

  • Wonderfully done. Thank you Deborah. You bring back memories of New Zealand's beauty.

  • beautiful voice well done.

  • Excuse my language, but you guys are dicks man! She's mad as!! Shucks, have some pride in your people man. I thought it was awesome as anyway sis, nice to see someone representing our people with class. Nice. Nice. Might have idiots like this writing rubbish, but take it to another country and they'll recognise the beautiful and fall in love with. Sad it has to be like that, but true. Arohanui.

  • My folk-song..Norwegian/Scottish style

    Have a good day

  • E your uqley ill smooke youu at that Sonqq !

  • What a bunch of idiots on here posting. This performance is great! It is a difficult song to sing, let alone play guitar to and it's not the least bit about facial expressions. Get a life losers! Try looking away from the screen, maybe you'd appreciate it more, if not leave the video entirely. She performed it well and I don't think it was odd in the least bit.

  • Stunning! My favourite version by far. Just what I've been looking for!

  • hey! I really like the way you sing this song! I just watched several versions and I definitely prefer your quite low voice. Sounds beautiful! =)

  • idiot

  • I found that performance odd, to say the least. It was almost as if you closed your nasal passage off to stop from breathing through your nose, the end result sounding like a male impersonation of sorts.

  • Hello Deborah. You are blessed with a beautiful voice to complement your beautiful face. I love this song and wish I could sing harmony with you instead of my recorder.

  • You are wonderful...please singing "Can You Hear Me Now" I know it would be heavenly...

    Thank You..

  • my god that's beautiful ... i put it on my favs list and have played it a hundred times

  • Beautiful :)

Thank you for the memories and the link back home from so far away...

  • deborah that is an INTERESTING version of pokare kare ana... I think you sing it a bit too low....try lifting your voice up a bit, I know you can do it. I just think that video kinda made the song a bit bland. If you just sing two noches louder that would of been a WONDERFUL performance...and dont worry I'm maori...

  • I think it was done for a particular effect

  • im going to sing this at marae

  • My grandmother got remarried to a kiwi - This was their wedding song. They were rowing in a makeshift boat. Lol. Didn;t know what it all meant 'til now. Nice song.

  • Beautiful song. A very good one to post, I've never heard a Maori song before. Good stuff.
