Just train your dog not to eat until you give it permission, then stick a piece of food right under it's nose so it will look at the FLOOR while you convince yourself that it really has any idea what the hell it's doing. Then you can move on to training it to stretch out its front legs and touch it's paws together, as you convince yourself that it actually understands why it's doing something so silly.
