I have a mental illness and I am on disability in order to overcome it. It's helping to have this time where I can get my head on straight. Some people sadly don't get the chance!
@mrsevans1000 When people with mental illness have proper care, they are very often able to hold jobs and fully contribute to their communities as responsible members of society. There are companies in California that employ such people (including County Mental Health Recovery programs). I was once considered "disabled and unable to work," but now work full-time and have received multiple promotions. Ignorant people like you, MrsEvans, make it difficult for people to believe they can recover.
Read Explaining colours to a blind man. Not only will it enlighten many as to what living with a mental illness and chronic fatigue syndrome is like, it also gives comfort to those sufferers who think there is no hope and that they are alone. It is very informative, sometimes shocking but also very funny in parts. All in all, a good read and highly recommended.
Jason Dudas does a fantastic job with this project. If I had an extremely important video project I wanted to do . . . a project that falls into the category of CRITICAL . . . Mr. Dudas is the man that I would bring on board.
Thank you for your comments. I totally agree. He should be in Hollywood but I'm SO gald he is here! Kentucky is blessed to have him. His work ethic is impeccable.

The reason the institutions don't have many patients anymore is because they are now filling the jails, prisons, and homeless shelters!
