I'm assuming you use Ken/Ryu , and attempt the Shoryuken wakeup on every possible possibility, and you'll just get countered by a lariat/ SPD.
Don't leave yourself open, don't stay too close.
You also have to take into account, Zangief is slow as hell, his ultra has NO range. If you're not moving, you can just jump out of it's way.
that, and his ultra was full barred against a character with not the best health, it's not the strongest ultra around.
Go have a go at Blankas :P
