How to Make Beaded Eyeglass Holders

I made the eyeglass holder but when my friend went to use it, the beads fell off. I know I squeezed really hard on the holder bead. I don't know what I did wrong. Help.

I have just seen you make eyeglass holders - I am desperate - if you could see me I am on my knees: I just cannot find anywhere in the UK the 'eyeglass finding' you say that is made of sterling silver. Where, or where do I buy them please?? Love your demonstrations - very good indeed.
