is electronics engineering a more difficult course of study than computer science? i get a's in computer science and im trying to figure out whether or not I could do engineering
@dvzqz87 Definately a more difficult course, you like maths?well maths is everything in electronic engineering,it is super hard, reqiures a very dedicated individual does include some programming courses but is based on mathematics a lot
@fingerboy18 Every civil engineer I know (all in petroleum/construction) makes about 200.000$ a year. I only know one electronic engineer and he makes about half that.
@perodruser I know many Civil Engineers that make $50k-80k. Most Electrical Engineers that I know make $60k-130k. I know a Chemical Engineer that makes $150k. All engineering practices are important, but it's well known that Civil Engineers generally make less than Electrical Engineers.
very good movie. I understand the most parts of it. But english is for me a foreighn language, because I life in Austria and there we only learn english in school.
he fucking tried, you inconsiderate racist fucks. try speaking swahili or something you'd get fucking laughed at. and don't tell me to watch my language Its english and its nessicarry.
That's the course I do, they usually come together. After your first year you decide what subjects you want to research further, which takes you down the path of majoring more in Electronics or Electrical engineering.
I see that once again the internet is apparently america, what about the UK what do I need here to be legit and also not blow up myself/customers? also why is there a seperation between electrics electronics I want to know both not have to do two seperate colege uni courses god frickin damn it!
@UFOXERT This is in reply to your post 6 days ago. The Internet was invented by DARPA a group under USA advanced research department for US DoD. A realy good video explaining this was done by some kids. Just search Youtube for "Explaining the Internet to an Idiot". their tite, not mine. :>)
Technology are more on programming etc? Such as in sys areas of hardware, machineries, even computers. While Electrical/electronics, i think its more of knowing how circuits boards works. Also include computerizing/programming but more hands on with hardware itself, how it runs physically, wires, than the internal program only.
Anyway, if looking for engineering jobs as a start from grad, my friend intro me this I found not bad (w w w . e a s t s t o p . c o m). Hope it helps! (",)
Hey everyone im going to school to be for engineering. I want to do repairs and Hands on work with electronics. should I go in Electronical/tronic engineering or technology? I dont want to do ANY appreticships. PLS Help start school in 3 weeks.
engineering is usually 4 years degree while technology is 2 years. Electronic engineers need 4 years degree and gets paid more than technologist (2 years degree).
Yes, it is. My father during the early 1960s was unsure about which field to select- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering because he was interested in both. Basically, he had a fascination for machines. Now, machines could be either mechanically or electrically powered. He decided to study Mechanical Engineering in the end. At that time the modules for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers students were the same, except for the final year which is more specific to the respective fields.
Engineering technicians would build new products. They would work with both mechanical and electronic engineers to build a prototype product from schematics the engineers designed once built they would test the circuits and troubleshoot if the circuits didn't works as planed. Then report back to the engineer the problems found. You would order the parts and build up the circuit boards or be responsible to have the boards made. You might be responsible to take the product to the factory also.
so you mean that the technician does more hand work, actually working with the device physically, and the engineer would deal with it virtually, by creating the idea............right?
im gonna become one in just 2 and half year from now on.

You won't make it though the curriculum of an ABET Accredited University if you don't enjoy your degree.

by course do you mean degree? but ya both electronics and electrical engineering are very similar
. Electronics is Mechanical and electrical engineering mixed, while Electrical is Electronic and computer engineering mixed.

what is the difference between an electronic engineer and a electronic technician?
altido 3 years ago
most times engineer will design (work the math and design the system from scratch)while a technician will do maintenance (to keep systems running)
