  • addons name?

  • new resto druid guide plz!!

  • What's addons??

  • Comment removed

  • If Im tank healing ill put regrowth and reju on and spam nourish, while sometimes wild growth and swiftmend. I think that healing touch takes too much time

If Im raidhealing i just put regro and reju on and randomly uses wild growth.

  • wat is the addon to se were we have drop the stuff ?

  • I still use alot of my old Spell rotation still wich is Regrowth x3 then 1x Wildgrowth

I heard alot of blanketing the raid with Rejuvenation but i dont get the same results as my old one i have 877 haste with 3.5k bonus healing 18% crit unbuffed

  • can someone tell me what the main heal of a druid are i use like Wild growth (randomly) nourish as main sometime rejuvenation if needed switftmend someone told me that i did wrong with using nourish? what healing spells are you using please tell me :) and nice vid :P

  • Take 1/3 natural perfection and go 2/2 empowered healing touch. It gives a huge bonus to nourish.

  • I think that these videos are awesome but it would be awesome to see you heal sometime =)

  • Where are you character at the vid? I wanna go there, that zone looks awesome!

  • What is the current haste soft cap for resto druids in 3.3.5, I thought it was around 750 ? does anyone know the exact value?

  • thank you. you have helped allot in my healing since this guide my healing has greatly improved

  • thank you for all your help, i made a druid as a healing toon and you have helped me alot =D

  • ?!! WHY ARE YOU SO BAD ARMORY MY DRUID StagÖn

  • Good video , I just had no clue about the stat priority and gems but now I know ty

  • This is silly. One useless point into Tranquil spirit and 0/2 into Empowered Touch? Fail x2

  • Please tell me the song name so I can download it! I'm going crazy! Is it the zone music???

  • i dont see why people cant understand drood healing hot tanks+ hot raid =win

  • lol he got 1337g !

  • 345 haste cap? tho it was 745

  • @metalhoer thats why he called it a SOFT cap

  • @metalhoer Its more than that, its 832 if Im not mistaken

  • There are no healing rotations. You use your heals to the situation. Its very simple look at your spells and you can see what to use and when. It also depends on your spec and what position your in. Are you tank heals? raid heals? or both?

  • great guide but you should have showed what heals are best to use and what weapons that are best :) well i think im gonna go for the weap trauma cause its a great heal weap :)

  • great to understand how to gear and spec but no info on healing =/

  • Since this IS out of date. Just want to let anyone looking for updated information

    Order of stat importance:

-Haste (soft cap) (since its over 700 as of 3.3)

-Spell power (after haste cap is reached)

-Spirit (does add to your spellpower a bit as well as mana regen)

    -Crit (never gem crit)

    -Int (never gem int)

  • @ProgDrummerQ

Exactly. NEVER ever gem int. And he had spell power + int gem in there. Fail.

  • @ProgDrummerQ intelect ?

but eevery healer is gemming and getting intelect wtf

  • @traxgod2 His comment was 4 months ago, now were at 4.0.1

  • where can i get that music?

  • wow nearly fell asleep with the music but picked it all up thanks dude:D

  • Guide didn't list healing rotations for raid or tank healing like he said he'd explain at the start of the vid.

  • @DanielSmith604 stack hots

  • Please let us know what the background music is.

  • anyone know the addons he is using for the action bars chat health and mana bar and map?????????????????????????

  • Whats the name of the music!? :O :P

  • Luuuve the music... It's so relaxing :)

  • @TheChevMaster i was just thinking that two that is all we can know from reading but maybe can not understand what it means.

  • whats the rotaion ?

  • @Darknightt5150 There is no real rotation as you aren't doing damage, but healing, the goal here isn't really to worry about how much healing you do per second, but to keep everyone alive.

So really, use your best judgment. If it's the tank you're healing, throw on him what you have to to keep him alive. If it's a dps who just got hit once and isn't taking hits on a regular basis, hit them with a HoT and move on.

  • lol yea most of it was just him talking about talents and glyphs :( i thought it would be more informative

  • @Hernan0520 Well when they make these guides its to inform new players on what is best and recommended these days in WoW if they are lost in Talents, Gear, Glyphs and spells. Plus this is the "Part II" guide so thats most of likely why.

  • my mp5 is 833. is that too much or not enough

  • dunno with buffs i got 1150.....

  • and sometimes i even go oom....

  • What is the best profession for resto druids? I am herb/alchemy

  • lol did he honestly reccomend glyph of healing touch? bleh..n yeah very dissapointed by this tankspot vid :( no theory

  • that is for tankhealing druids..... its usualy for guild runs if there is no holy pala or shamy....

  • but not many guilds dont have a shamy or pally healer....

  • Probably the least informative tank spot video I've seen by a large margin. Theres no insight here, and the information can be aquired alot faster by just reading a forum post.

  • Hey guys im having problems with healing in Druid im used to healing with a shaman.. When i usually go to raids with my druid i look at ppls gears and i seem to have better gear but then i look at the healing metere and in 2nd ...When i see ppl below 4k or so i use reju and maybe throw a wild growth can someone help me out ... thanks ;)

  • What is the soft haste cap now that it is 3.3 and GotEM was changed.

    With and without 3/3 CF

  • @krazy812

    856 Haste without

    7** something with lol

  • its 750

  • Restro healing is so damn fun lol, only healing spec that i enjoy tbh.

  • what addons do healers need?

  • @woodsta1992 depends, xperl is good for me

  • I know that all healing friends of mine take healbox or what u call it, i dont use any healing/tanking/dps addons

  • It seems no one has recomended this, odly.

    A must have is Healbot. It gives you a grid of all your party members and allows you to set your different heals to keybindings, where you press said key combo and click the target. For example, as a resto druid this is what I have set up;

    Left Click = Rejuvination

Left Click + Shift = Lifebloom

Left Click + Ctrl = Regrowth

    Right Click = Swiftmend

Right Click + Shift = Cure Poisen

Right Click + Shift + Ctrl = Remove Curse

    etc etc..

  • i use grid its simple and just make a mouseover macro....

  • 1) meta "chance to restore mana"... bad. 2% int is gem what u want. read some theorycraft.

    2) +10 stat gem... must have.

    3) kkthxbb noob ;)

  • ur fing retarded i dont even think uve ever healed a raid. if u dont not have enough mp5s wait u probally dont know what that means mana per 5 seconds u run out of the mana and can no longer heal go level past 20 then come and talk. To czjapan

  • AHH your missing your +10 stat gem!!! always have one, ALWAYS as a druid. I like to put mine in a yellow socket, why have 12 spwr with 10 int or haste when u can have 10 spwr 10 int 10 haste and 10 spirit all in 1 gem ? its a must.

  • it doesnt give 10 haste..... it only gives base stats...

    like

    streinght

    intelect

    agility

    spirit

    stamina

  • my haste is at 500 and mana regen the same at 500 in resto on my balance spec haste is at 600....

  • What UI are you using?

  • Waste of my time... Anyone with the knowledge to open google could find the same stuff in the video...

  • maybe they are just good speakers?

  • It did feel a little bit like someone reading a forum post, but ultimately that's what I was looking for. Very helpful for me as a Balance druid who just dualed into Resto.

It definitely feels more 'entry level' as a guide because of the lack of specifics. Another Tankspot contributor did a Fury Warrior guide, his might serve as a good template if you ever decide to do something like this again.

Overall it helped me and I appreciate the time and effort you put into it.

    Thank you.

  • Informative video, many thanks for the time you put into it

  • Always thought it was more of a PvP enchant, but I realise it could be quite usefull in some encounters.

  • Pretty nice guide!

I got some tips for you tho :)

You might want to considder using the meta gem "Ember Skyflare Diamond". The "Chance to restore mana on spellcast" does not apply to HoT ticks and therefore not very usefull for a restoration druid. I've tried the gem myself and the mana restore is very rare (don't know about you tho and your playing style!)

As for the Run speed increase enchant on boots, thanks for that! :) (have to continue next comment)

  • While a HoT tick does not proc hte mana return, a druid using the spell does. Assuming a druid is not a moron, they will be HoTing multiple targets, and thus they will be casting every 1-1.5 seconds (global cooldown). Thus, every second, this mana regen can proc.

The gem is amazing because of this. Just consider it another Omen of Clarity

  • Yes, it is true that using the spell can provide the mana restore. But since it has an internal cooldown of, I think, 45 seconds this cannot be considered as a second OoC. The mana restore can be usefull in long and difficult encounters, but I never found myself going "out of mana" in any of them so far. If you're undergeared and not properly gemmed (non-epic) this gem could be amazing for you, yes. :)

  • There is no gem that increases healing done, so our metas will be for the purpose of mp5.

This is the best for mp5.

(+2% int requires replenishment, and a ton of mana as well)

  • I'd agre with transcendencie as to his latter comment. I can read the talents off for myself; but would be much more beneficial would be to have examples of raid healing tactics, or practical examples of where a given healing spell is best. Or how to tank or raid heal, since those jobs have different healing needs.

But, I did like the production values for your videos. Having a script that you read means no "uhh... uhhh's" that can be heard on so many other poorly produced videos.

  • Maybe, there'll be a Part 3 in the works, sometime soon? ;-)

  • Yeah this video is pretty worthless.

As far as reading from a script, it's so painfully obvious that he is that I rather dislike it, I would take a few umms and errs (non-excessive of course) over a stale presentation any day. My 2¢

  • Unfortunately, the vast majority of unscripted videos do spill over into the *excessive* category of umms and uhhs.

  • Since you suggested Glyph of WG and Glyph of Rejuv, I assume that you raid healing 90% of the time. Since the current trend for raid healing is Rejuv/WG spam plus occasional Swiftmend, what benefit does Nature's Grace give you? Which fight do you find yourself spamming Nourish a lot to make NG worth a while?

Reading off the tooltip for each resto talent doesn't make this a strategy guide. It's more helpful if you explain the in-combat strategy for raid heal and tank heal as a resto druid.

  • A lot of fights require *lots* of running around and the quicker you can get into position to bunker in and heal the more effective you are at doing your role.

Now, it's true Druids have a luxury to hot and run but at the same time if Nourish is needed, and the druid is out of position, the person he's trying to heal dies. That's no good! :)

  • oh yea man, i mean i thought about that after i left the comment, but... well yea you ofcourse have a good, valid point. Just saying that, increasing movement speed by whatever EVERY time u can, seems, to me, like quite a waste.

i mean for instance using every meta socket + enchanting boots and cloak, just seems like alot to me... but thats just me, i like mah spirit to be high and so with spell power. Maybe thats not ideal, but i find a way to deal with that :D

    but thanks for replying back:D

  • The runspeed meta and boot enchant do not stack, dunno why he didn't mention that.

Regardless, run speed on boots is pretty much the most useful enchant for the majority of classes, unless you have movement speed increasing talents (pursuit of justice, feral swiftness etc).

  • Getting out of Icehowl's path after Massive Crash (no speed boost in heroic mode). Running when focused in Faction Champs. Avoiding orbs in Twins. Kiting Anub in P2.

    Passive speed enhancment = win.

  • I love your UI, what addons do you use to make it look like it does?

  • this was a little bit helpful but i thought there would be more tricks for healing not only the gear and spec guide...

  • off topic but when i spec into crusade for the extra humanoid dmg does this include pvp people too?

  • This guide contains information about how to spec, glyph, and gem a restoration druid, but not on how to play one in a raid enviornment.

You talk about viable options that are different then your recommened based on whether they're tank healing or raid healing, but how are they applied in that actually raid setting?

  • Whatever you do, don't get glyph of rejuv. This guy obviously does not have common sense as far as healing goes. His voice annoys the hell out of me.

  • Why is that not a good Glyph? I find it very usefull in fights with allot of splash damage and/or high tank damage.

An exeption for this is ofc 3d phase of Anub'Arak but thats besides the point.

  • Because at absolute best, it's situational. Only in fights with extremely heavy raid damage are people ever going to drop below 50%, and when they do, a single target healer (holy pally for example) is going to pop them right back up before your rejuv has any significant effect. The only times it would be useful is a 5 man where you are the only healer, but in 5 mans, there isn't enough raid damage to make it worthwhile. Glyph of Nourish is a much better choice, and essential for tank healing.

  • It is situational, but when I made this video I was using it because its great for fights in Ulduar such as HM Hodir when you have 2 other healers, Firefighter, Algalon, Freya x3, and Yogg 0. In these fights there just isn't enough time for the "holy pally to top them off" as you say because the tanks are also getting wrecked. I noted in the tankspot thread that I had switched to the glyph of lifebloom for ToC. Sorry that my voice bothers you so much!

  • That is very true... i guess you have a point.

  • look at his gear and raid progress he knows what hes doing

  • Gear and/or raid progress haven't had any bearing on player skill since vanilla WoW.

  • Indeed, i mean many things you can just get via guild, they running u thru something easy for fun, does NOT prove skill...

  • This was very helpful to me :) Ty

  • god i really need to change my glyphs i still have my nourish glyphed for 6%+ with hots. I also use glyph of innervate which i find pretty useful if i innervate someone else. I usually do double the heals of anyone else overall in 25man toc 10/25togc except for holy paladin who does about 85% of what i do except I do innervate myself a lot is this a noob move? Should i change innervate and noruish to something else and if so what? I'm guessing glyph of rejuv/wild growth might be a better move.

  • Really not actually that helpful :/

  • can you do a hunter tutorial please? BM or Surv would be awesome!

  • because WoW players are more rude than other humans on this planet.

  • what software do you use to make your videos? Win Movie Maker?

  • Addons?

  • i disagree with not putting any points in empowered touch hots cant heal through everything

  • i guess you're the only healer in your raids then.

  • healing touch is bad, sorry for you

theworldisagainstyou, nourish and hots is way better than spamming healing touch lol

  • empowered touch also increases healing done by nourish and yes only a dumbass would use healing touch

  • as a restoration druid myself i was more hoping to see something about healing choices at an actual boss, as like raid healing, i have seen quite a lot of stupid druid, it would make it easyr for the

  • You should do a holy pally video.

  • coming soon, if this goes on.

  • Spam flash light or holy light, beacon on off tank, done.

  • Why on the offtank? This way you got to keep healing the one taking most damage (presumably the main tank) so you will be unable to add some raid healing. Also, if you're putting beacon on the one taking most damage, the least amount of beacon heals will be overheals.

  • it would be a 1minute video

  • I would love to see a restoration shaman video. Im my raids main healer and want to see how accurate Ive gotten then spec down. Great vids, keep them up guys!

  • just have to point out, what makes you think that just beacuse that they are from tankspot that they have 100% accurate specc and gemming etc?

  • whats with the thumbs down its true

  • i'm a stat whore personally i keep stacking stam int spirit and SP. i don't think i have enough haste yet tho :( some good advice3 on this but most of it is common knowledge to most competent resto druids but that ui is tight i use icehud rangedisplay and xperl kinda clunky but it works ...

  • is it me or is living seed not that important if they only get applied after a spell crit on the target when NPC's cannot actualy crit on spells

  • it is if your heal crits

  • resto shammy guide!!!

  • nice vid, good info, just wanna know, what addons are u using ? i love the looks of your ui :)

  • Wut mods are you using?

  • Please make begin to make DPS videos personally I don't need them but it would be nice for people to get real answers from the pros instead of having to scan the forums hoping.

  • Very clean UI, as a minimalist-whore i just came a litltle.

  • Oh god me too

  • i really like the other class guides that have been shown here. but i must say im very disappointed with this one.

its just a 20 min video of the most basic info about druids wich everyone can see by opening a druids talent tree and spell book.

i really hope that tankspot will make a new druid healer guide.

the othere class guides u made was VERY helpfull.

  • thank you so much

  • hey guys i love ur videos

i just wanna know if ur one day guna be putting up some videos for resto shammys cuz im slowly lvling one up to 80 and id like to know wat to expect when i respec to resto

  • you should put up a guide on holy paladins

  • lmao!

  • Yeh thats exactly what I meant, Glyph of HT is kinda crap and especially if u use Healing touch in combination with Nature's swiftness.. ;)

  • About Glyph of Healing touch.

You said its another option available, imo(no offence), its a crap glyph.. if u use HT as ur "oh sh%t" button like MTwords said.

It wont be much of a help, also it will heal about the same amount as Nourish and will be pretty useless cause Nourish will crit much more cause of Nature's Bounty and those crits will benefit the effect of talents as Nature's Grace and Living seed.

Thanks for putting up this vid though, I've learned a few new things ;)

  • i didn't mean healing touch glyphed.. i meant i use nature swiftness+ Healing touch.. hence "oh sh%t" button.. and can only happen every 3 min. and only when Swiftmend is on cooldown. since swiftmend should be the primary

"oh sh%t" button. but yeah. that's my opinion.

healing touch glyphed is garbage, unless you're like.. boomkin. actyally.. there is ONE build that used to work with glyphed heal touch, but i don't recommend it.

    anyway, hots+nourish all the way.

  • int increases your mp5 too man...

  • Anyone know what actionbar addon hes using?

  • google Ragebars UI

  • ROFL AWESOME 1337 GOLD, nice guide btw

  • love im so lucky song by lucky twice

  • i find that glyph of nourish is WAY better than the one for rejuv. also, another glyph you might consider is the one that allows u to brez ppl at full health. (forget the name, but it's really good if u are brezzing tanks.)

nature's swiftness if off the global cooldown. so ALWAYS use it with Healing touch (or regrowth i suppose)

i find empowered touch extremely helpful since i use nourish a lot. and have nourish glyph. also, since HT is my "oh sh%t" button, 40% more healing is welcome

  • glyph= rebirth

  • "who has been the recipient of a combat ressurection" ROFL

  • stopped listening at glyph of rejuv %D

  • DO A PALLY HEALING GUIDE! please :)

  • Press 2 buttons? GG

  • FoL fol fol fol fol fol fol fol spam, ima pally and when i go holy thats all i do

  • It should look more like holy light holy light holy light...

  • nope....

  • about time u guys did a rogue guide or dk or warlock. gosh

  • u all have to keep in mind that this guide and spec and glyphs are all set to a raid healers PoV. if u want u can tank heal and raid heal. properly speccd and glyphed u can acheive easy 12k+ crits on nourish and be viable for tanking also making nourish amazing for splash dmg healing with the recommended haste. druids are great cuz u can be very creative and unique with ur build and gear. u can do pretty much w/e u want with them as resto.

    Oig of cho'gall

  • song of background music please

  • most of these comments are of druids wanking on about mana.

  • This was an interesting guide, but a lot of druids that are healers dont spec into Natures Grace. Yes it helps, but I would rather have threat reduction for the idiot tanks out there than running around with more haste.

*shrug* Besides, if you stack a crapton of haste, youre just going to be confusing yourself when your shaman pops hero.

  • What music is that?

  • Tbh this wasnt one of the best guides that i ve seen on youtube. The fact that u should stack spirit and use the mana regen meta gem is nonsense. If you know when to time your innervate you should never go oom + getting as much spell power as possible is always better then just trying to get some useless mana regen items that wont help you in any way.

  • Comment removed

  • While I agree with you to a point, I also have to point out that in a raid environment, innervate might not have to be used on you. It has gotten it's cooldown reduced in a recent patch, so this isn't that big of a deal anymore, but mana regen is still very good for any healer.

  • I reccomend that Llego goes into more depth on spell use rather than enchantments/glyphs. It was painfully vague on the first portion on when to use what spell, if at all.

  • Suggestion: Please make a restoration Shaman version if you can. It'll help us a lot. A holy paladin one would be nice, as well as one for all the tanking classes.

  • Def the worst guide of all the guides so far, Maybe just because I'm a driud myself and this is just feels painfully obvious for me.

  • It would have been much better if you focused more on druid healing tactics for raid/tank healing, which spell is best for what situation etc then just reading all talents and gems that we can see in 3 sec on armory... but anyway thanks for the effort :)

  • My comments from part 1 still apply, along with this: On most items, you say "You can enchant A or B", but you dont talk about the benefits from it. You mention "I use Tuskars Vitality, but you could also chose to..", but not why. You might aswell go "You can enchant your gloves with spellpower or with agility".

You just spent 18 minutes reading talents, and naming enchants, without actually focusing on playstyle, prioritizing, how to heal if you are on raid versus on tank, etc.

  • Druids are one of those classes where a "pvp" talent can also be very useful in some instances of pve. It really comes down to specing for whatever fight your having issues with and as he mentioned, ALOT of specing comes down to your play style. Personally i used to run with a spec and glyphs close to his. Now I run a 0.8 second healing touch spec with raid healing. nothing better than a 0.8 second 11k crit :)

  • You can get by with a pvp spec but you're not going to be anywhere near as effecient a healer. Why would u need barkskin glyphed for 1. Most druids push into insect swarm for 2v2 which is also a big waste of points into balance. So yes you can get by with a pvp spec but it will hurt your healing by a good 20% throughput id say.
