@ProjecL You don't I have Sims 3 you control your own sim other sims in town live their life's and you live yours its just not as in Sims 2 that the sims YOU control grow up and the sims you don't control don't thats stupid if you have a teen girlfriend and then you grown up you can't be with your teen grilfriend because she's not adult! I love the Sims 2 also I also play that alot, but still Sims 3 is awesome because the entire neighborhood lives too! :) but both awesome games! :)

@R0ckB4ndRuleZ actually if you have Sims 2 Freetime you can chose townies to grow up with you. and you can simply move your townie in and then make it grow up i mean if you are girlfriend or boyfriend with you it pretty much means the 2 sims are best friends and because of that you can do that. As for other sims in the neighboorhood that are controlable by going to neighborhood screen just make them grow up aswell. And do some romantic interactions and they get back on track after few of them

it looks fun but you cant be the pets, the neighborhood is just a park, traits weren't made yet, cant have children (i think) and you cant kill em (i think). sims 3 pets looks WAY better.

If they through generations out there people would be more likely to buy it then if they were to through pets out there .
