  • OMG, this is all about the love for a song.

  • Well... I don't know what to think... I have no words to say about it...

I really would like to die and see what will happen.

    This is unreal!

  • Fantastic!

  • wow

  • Is it me, or when Neil just play his guitar, he move around like a shaman or an African Witch Doctor?

  • @robinalexlewis

Well, he is half Canadian Indian... and if he ain't a shaman of some sorts, I don't know who is.

  • @wdchefdave56 Thanks for that info, I did not know that.

  • @wdchefdave56 Half Canadian Indian? Where do you get that idea from?

  • Wow. Neil Young is a natural for this song. Other than John, I think I prefer Young singing it.

With Beatles in mind, I've posted the video, "40 years in 3 minutes", which is a music video containing the Beatles' rooftop performance, historical events over the last 40 years and 8mm film antics from the period, all cut tightly to GET BACK and GLASS ONION. Hope you enjoy!

  • Paul is definitly stoned..OMG I LOVE HIM SO MUCH !!! <3

  • not ok

  • Yup, I would've freaked out ...how friggin amazing!!!

  • Paul McCartney drunk... COOOOOL

  • saw a different show that year were he played the same song, it was friggin awsome, just blew me away

  • Yeah, I'm with the people duly impressed you held the video so steady. I would have been jumping up and down and singing. I don't know how you managed to do this...but THANKS. I bet this was mind-blowing in person.

  • ñkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 Ringo Starr is so underrated...compared to this oaf anyway

  • This is so awesome. Maybe the next time I go see Paul McCartney he'll start playing "After the Gold Rush" and Neil will show up. A guy can dream, right? :P

  • oh now I remember...it was me that had a few!!...

  • i thought neil was gonna toss his guitar out..

  • I've seen neither man live in concert....need to change that!!!

  • that was fuckin awsome!!..Young and Mccartney together!..you can see Mac is really fucked up and into it..and Neil shredded that Les paul!

  • @kmars21 What gives you the impression Paul has had a few? Couldn't he maybe just be really happy?

  • My question is this, How could U hold a camara to do this?

    LOL Your awesome and THX!

  • Wow!!Goosebumps.Neil,Paul,Hyde Park.What a way to end a show

  • They were like a couple of teenagers. Superb.

I was there seeing Neil Young and then my other all time musical hero turned up I just couldn't believe it.

  • ty for video

  • dio on bass?

  • yo neil, please get out of the way so that we can hear paul sing.

  • He's not drunk...he's not Paul.

  • looks like Paul is drunk

  • oh god... he smoked again... great... Paulie

  • Muy bueno!!!!

  • i cant listen paul...

  • @SoFarSoGoodSoWhat14 I know. I was thinking the same thing, but I guess they were just trying to do it their way. Sounds better with the drum fills, though.

  • This works for me..

  • at 2:30 it sounded really sloppy

  • AAAWWWEEESSSOOOMMMEEEE!!!!!!!!!....thank you so much for posting this!!!

  • this is greate. this is Rock and Roll. The way it should be. Old Rockers just jammin and havin a good time. and we get to see it.

  • las maravillas de youtube, dos monstruos juntos EXTRAORDINARIO

  • I love it. Neil breaks every string on "ol' Blackie", yet beats the broken strings against the pickup to keep making music. Genius!

  • Lucky to be there

  • Two perfect old men.

  • This is my favourite song of the Beatles, and Neil Young is my favourite artist, so, this is REALLY GOOD.

  • >Beautyful old man!!. Those who never betrayed us...

  • Old Black ( Neil's oldest Gibson guitar) has sure been through hell and back.

    Love this stuff.

  • usually i dont like covers, cant listen to it, but this version. with this neil's amazing talent and voice, it's not less than incredible

  • I love Neil & Paul...This is amazing video...It's like I died and went to purgatory...SNL Skit or something...Neil Looks lost and paul looks like a Jester...FUCK!!!!

  • I'm so happy to be able to say that I WAS THERE!! This brings back an amazing memory!

  • he always looks like this doesnt he

  • But god damn is this video good

  • Neil Young looks like a damn bum here.

  • About the drum fills, there's one Ringo Starkey, and there was one band called the Beatles. But what Neil does is more than a tribute......

  • Thank you for posting this

  • wow i never seen Paul so stoned before lol

  • nobody can play 'a day in the life' like Ringo, seriously Nobody

  • Like alot of you, all I can do is smile all the way through. I had to wipe my eyes a couple of times. Magic Moment. :)

  • Like alot of others, all I can do is smile all the way through. And wipe my eyes every now & then. Magic Moment. :)

  • gracias por este video es sumamente emocionante, tambien les recomiendo este con eric clapton , se lo dedican a john.

    Asi se llama el video:

Clapton Y McCartney le cantan a un amigo While My Guitar Gently Weeps

  • Comment removed

  • Shit, i was smiling all the entire fucking video. Too fucking good to believe.

  • Fucking outstanding! fuck yea!

  • neil eres mi adoracion!!!!!

  • 5:05 onwards is the reason why neil young is so much more relevant than all those hippie losers

  • Im speachless! The singing didnt even sound that good. The chemistry was out the roof ! The way Paul kept hugging Neil did bring tears to my eyes. These are two Rock soldiers uniting and sharing a moment that is pricless to them. Both Men ahave been to hell and back with their personal lives several times and to the other end of the spectrum as well. They somehow manage to let us all in and share with us the bonding that only them two could share. Priceless for us as well. Thank you!

  • you are very lucky to experience this

  • I bow my head to the one and only Neil Percibel Young!!!!!!

  • Best ever!!!!

  • So many Beatle versions (my fav. band) to choose from but decided to post this one simply because here is two of my all time favorte musicians ever on one stage. Not the best vocals by any means but what fun! So glad to see Paul enjoying himself. Good night , sweet dreams, and may God watch over you always~ Peace out~ Dutch

  • go neil!

  • I never understood why Neil Young got famous.

  • @rrossa : Cos he wrote some of the best songs of the late 60's and early 70's and his albums sold millions.

    Thats why.

  • @rrossa So.....problably you never understood many many other things my dear brainless friend)))

  • @rrossa When you get enough pocket money ...allowance ask your parents to take you to a music shop and ask the man at the counter and ask for an album called harvest and listen repeatedly .

  • @270ambrose I'm 55 years old. I am a fanatical musician. I have had friends all my life that love him. I have played many of his songs many times in bands in bars and at festivals. I have no idea why he is famous.

  • @rrossa wtf ?

  • @rross So why play his songs?

  • @rrossa Are you serious? Really? I'm speechless.

  • Neil hasnt lost his sound thru-out the decades...great stuff....R.I.P.. John&George

  • lol they're steaming

  • Gosh father time wasn't too kind to Neil Young, was he?

  • @KidsWithGuns1992 What a douchebag you are.

  • @YoungDylanFan God forbid I make an observation.

  • When Neil get's "tribal" nothing is safe! Paul saw some "Lennon" in an artist that took a sacred song and put it WAY out into another field!

    (Wish I was there!)

Oh, and Rock-Stars never drink or do drugs Pollyanna...

  • they were drunk!!!!!!

  • fuck there hammered.. its fuckin awesome

  • awesome but what was up with the drummer he barely did any of ringo's fills

  • Feels kinda weird to see Paul on stage without a bass, a guitar or a piano.^^

    Beautiful video anyway!

  • @LittleWillow92 i think thats why he starts messing up his hair. he doesnt know what to do with his hands! haha

  • The 45 people that disliked this video should die.

  • Paul Neil John Fantastic Brawner

  • this makes my balls all fuzzy : )

  • Wow...what a great collaboration....this was a cool video!..thx 4 posting :)

  • where is this? country i mean

  • I saw Neil Young play this as his closing number at the Sydney Entertainment Centre in January 2009. Jeff Beck had played it as HIS closing number the previous night at the Sydney's Enmore Theatre as well...a little bit suspicious, hahaha… Anyway, both were great concerts. Although nowhere near as cool as what you've filmed here with Paul making an appearance.

  • ¡AMAZING! :,D

  • This is too awesome for words.

  • doesn't matter how may times i watch this I smle when Paul comes on although they are not brill they are Neil and Paul

  • i'd pay 200 dollars just to see the last minute of the video...

  • Freakin BRILLIANT!!!

  • @scats1949 if you're asking what song that is, it is after the gold rush by young

  • @bookkeeper57 paul had neither type 1 diabetes nor epilepsy to contend with.

  • classic........

  • This music will stay in my head for-ever..love me some Beatles and Neil Young..where's the one that says "i was lying in a burned out basement.....

  • Adorei. Fiquei muito emocionada, me lembrei de muita coisa legal, principalmente de como éramos tão jovens e tão inocentes, Que legal!!!

  • Just the end of the universe can end as meaningful as ¨A day in the life¨

  • The best of all, This is John song!, and Paul alway loved this song..as you can see now-days...

  • Oh my God. What an event. What a powerful performance and what a joy to witness this!

  • Comment removed

  • Fantastic song, great performers, and great bit of grunge at the end!

  • I am totally IN LOVE with this video. thank you

  • Crap, I would have loved to have been there.

  • Paul isn't drunk, he simply loves Neil Young and happens to have an open heart like the rest of the Beatles.Interesting that Neil really appreciates him.

  • this was one of the greatest videos I've ever seen!

  • well done neil, god bless mccartney

  • What are you talking about sammy? Take a listen to his song Alabama. And then STFU.

  • Hey Neil, I hope your car breaks down in a black neighborhood on a hot summer's night. Then the chickens will come home to roost.

  • @Sammyjackson1488 you're a coward douchebag, neil young is a great person, while you are a subpar human

  • @bojanks15

What you say may well be true; however, that does not alter the sad fact that black crime is out of control, and that Neil Young does not feel the need to address this somewhat important issue. Now why is that?

  • @Sammyjackson1488 poverty crime is prevalent not black crime, get a life

  • @bojanks15

And you stay out of black neighorhoods.

  • @Sammyjackson1488 THOSE 2 COULD GO INTO ANY NEIGHBORHOOD AND WOULD BE JUST FINE

  • @jillzi7

    Har-har-har-dee-har-har!

  • WOW that was a great cover, and paul was hilarious XD

  • Thank you, thank you, thanks you 4 sharing!!!

  • What a great cover.Neil Young rarely dissapoints

  • I've always thought My Bloody Valentine should cover this song because they'd be so good at the ending

  • His drummer is so shit...but amazing performance nonetheless...ok the video just finished and his fills pick up towards the end I guess.

  • His drummer is so shit...but amazing performance nonetheless

  • haha :')

    love u paul

  • Paul was clearly tipsy and having a BLAST! John was looking down from Rock N Roll Heaven saying "Great! 'Bout time you lightened up, ya tight arse!" ;D xoxoxoxox!

  • 42 fall out of bed

  • Still one of my favorite YouTube concert clips ever, to this day.

  • LOVE

  • Neil has performed with George at a Bob Dylan tribute, and Ringo when he played with The Band.

  • The One that should of died first shows us why again! Long Live Neil Young!!

  • @mespasticpunk Paul Is the Industry JOKE! But hey Idol worship is for sissies so your comments are taken as wimpy hand slaps LOL!

  • good to see paul unwind a bit

  • this was one of the best shows ever...

  • El 90 por cien del tema es de Lennon. Le faltaban unos versos y usaron unos que tenía paul por ahí:Woke up, fell out my bed. Es justo la parte en que se acerca a Neil Youn para cantar "su" parte. Firmaban juntos pero cada uno escribía por su cuenta, son pocos los temas como a little help from my friends, que escribieron juntos para ringo.O a veces se prestaban versos como aqui.

  • And, is that an epic ending or what? really captures the beauty of the song, and in such an intense way!

  • happy and respectful as he must be, he definitely is drunk! and he is soooo cool!

  • Thanks for the posting. I love You Tube, it's an Aladdin's Lamp for music... to this old hippie.

  • wouldn't it be awesome if these two legends would make an album together???

  • Lennon would be proud :)

  • That's one of the most beautiful scenes I already saw on youtube

    two big eternal stars together,

    drunk,happy,crazy,incredible,

    I'm crying right now...

  • @TheOldSurehand Fucking poser.

  • @TheOldSurehand i got chills the firs t10 seconds and they have not gone away since

  • @TheOldSurehand I would have loved to be back stage ... just a fly n the wall, watching and listening to the shananigans that must have been taking place...

  • its spooky how natural it feels listening to neil perform this song.

  • Paul McCartney and Neil Young together on the scene is magic. Paul McCartney happy (not drunk or stoned) is not unusual if you have seen him live lately. It is clear that he's only showing respect for Neil Young. Yeah!

  • poor people who think neil young is the owner of this song lol this is beatles song mccartney/lennon.. and NOW mccartney

  • neil young is SO FREAKING LUCKY wow... mccartney . OMG

  • thumbs up if u wanna catch paul being drunk jejeje

  • i wish the dude would lay off the ride cymbal.

  • would anybody go see this jerk if he didnt throw in 3 quarters of beatle songs establishment pig

  • @flakbac Well, since he wrote half of the Beatle songs too, but people run to his concerts sold out staduims just as well to hear the Wings songs, you should try a few ;-)
