Greaseman you are a ledgend and you nailed the whole Salesman/Client /announcer /production stupidity. Brings back the time we did it all live with a bunch of carts, two turntables, two tape machines and the Greaseman was a genius. Where in the heck is he? he never "did" Australian but in local DJ circles he was one of the worlds best and most entertaining. Love your work mate!

HAHAHAHAAH! Good god, I've worked in radio since I was 5, parents always did this stuff, let me tell you folks, everything he says here is 100% true. For god sakes, we had digital software and editing programs when we did it, and it still drove us crazy, I can't imagine doing it live like this over and over.

They let the GREASEMAN go. We will have to wait and see where he ends up next.

Wow :) In 1988 while stationed at the sub base in groton, ct, I moonlighted at Q105 writing and co-producing spots for the then production director. It was just supposed to be a part-time gig...and man oh man do I miss that :)

All true, back in the day. Wow, carts. Used to love/hate me some carts. Now with digital you can line things up -- keep the lines they'll probably change separate and ready to be dicked around with.

I think its true for people in life. Cut someones lawn there lazy they want it cut short the lawn dies. Your fault. Cut it to long be back next week loos good too long. Greaseman is the best! I used to listen to him just about every day when I lived close to DC. He is a genius in his field. I really miss listening to him and wish more Greaseman content would be posted.
