You'd just have to manipulate nitrous bases in a precise way and, voilá. You have artificial human genes. Just go and insert them in a cell and watch the new being come to life.
Or you can create a cell artificially (they already did that).
This delves deeper into the concept of 'what is a soul?', which is something I'm not willing to debate.

I.E.: If a human with 80 years clones himself, he'll have a child with '80 year-old genetic structure', meaning the child would only live for another 20 years at maximum. But if you were to clone a human at young age (something that HAS BEEN done), he would live his proper lifespan.
