hey. this is a very great video. i really admire the way you presented this topic. it was amazing. i'm practicing link building too and with this video, i have learned something different which i could use in the future.
The changes Google are making is not going to cause people to stop using, the habit has already been established that Google is the #1 search engine. People today are searching for products and services in their local community and Google recognizes this, so the first page is dominated by local businesses.
@broogee Yep, I agree. If someone is searching for a local service, Google will display the local services. If people are searching for an online product, Google will display the best websites selling that product.
@TheProid Well, I do actually have many #1 rankings on Google. It just so happens that all website design companies understand the importance of Link Building, and so it is extremely competitive. I have chosen to do SEO for specific areas of Website Design, etc. that I can compete in, and it's working. As always, there is still plenty more to do.
@WebDeskCo hello,I want to try article directories on my link building strategy, can you recommend one good site for me? thanks. Very Informative, very organized, very clear! great video @WebDeskCo
@Froboy1100 Well, "Dominate the Internet" is a far stretch to "take over the world." But to answer your question, the goal of most everyone who builds a website, is that their business can go global, instead of being limited to their local geography. Hope that helps!
I think SEO will always be around but that first page placement will slow decrease. If I was Google and I've seen evidence tha this is happening already. I would leverage that first page to generate more revenue, after all its a business and they do not make money from SEO professionals or companies.
you can find thousand of guides explaining the same stuff ... i'm 14 and i consider myself good at seo why ? i have place some keys below sites like imbd (amazon movie site)
I agree link building is important but it will be for page 2 through the rest. Google is a business and a very good business very profitable. They did not gain billions from allow any SEO person or company to get listed on the first page for free. They receive no money from the SEO. That's changing with Google Local, first page is being reclaimed to generate more revenue.
@broogee So are you saying those listings on the front page are not websites? We have many websites on the front page. Google Local is SEO. As you can imagine, I also have many videos on the top of Youtube (another huge search engine).
@broogee - I think it is funny how freaked out everyone is about the new updated Google Algorithm. This is a good thing. It means Google search results are going to be more accurate. It doesn't change the fact that link building is still absolutely critical. None of our websites have had any negative impact on Google ranking whatsoever. Those who should worry, are those who propagate trash.
Very nicely explained,

@broogee Sure, but the other point of view, is once Google does that, people stop using it.

Good video but the focus from Google is changing and that will change that first page placement. Check my video and a future video coming in days.
