I'm a white cop and I can see what he was trying to do. Based on modern day "racism" standards, this act would be considered as such. However, in common sense land, he did a great thing by calling out their lack of respect for laws and personal responsibility. I don't have a problem with it. The real problem is that the people's parents never had that talk with them prior to them getting in trouble.

I do not believe this is racist, but professional misconduct. I do not believe what he did was morally wrong, but it was ethically dubious. In short, a person in his position should not act in such a way however frustrating his job is, as all are equal before the law and it is not the judiciary's responsibility to police. @Nationalism4Life I don't think that this judges reason for clearing the courtroom was racist and neither would it have been if a white judge had done it if whites were in the same position. However, they are not in the same position. The number of whites doing violent crime today is not as heavily concentrated. There are no white judges (at least not many) sincerely wanting to take a moment to say to white criminals "Come on, get it together. There's too many of you. What were you thinking?"
