@TheDrummie1 as i know the busbys have been replaced now ..they were worn since silver jubilee year 1977...they were based on similar caps worn during the 20s and 30s that were modeled on the flying caps of the day , from what i know too, they were not popular with the musicians....marty

I noticed that the band that was on parade on the route were wearing forage caps instead of the usual Busbys was there a reason for this?

@kak672 I think this is Gordon Jacobs Fanfare and is played before the National Anthem on certain occassions.
