The distance from the top of the state to bottom is about 40 miles so If you take off from the center of the state and travel north at the L39's top speed of 485mph, well, in about 2.4 minutes before you're in another state but all planes go from state to state without restrictions so there's no need to turn arund quickly unless you want to.
