Many of the Nigerians players were product of the youngest team ever to win a Champions league, Ajax. Four years later, they won the first Olympics gold medal to African continent in soccer, Cameroon after. This was one of the best matches i ever watched live TV. Except the fair play at end of the match, wasn't pleasant to watch.
In my opinion, this was a perfect team. Its members were unselfish, aggressive, unafraid, skillful and fit!

Joseph Dosu was a good GK. I think if him didn't have that car accident after this tournament, Nigeria should go far in France 98'. Rufai was so bad and he conceded lot of goals agains Paraguay, Spain and Denmark.

@LVMR14 That type of offside trap works if you have a disciplined and well routined defensive system. When you pull an offside trap on a set piece, you are supposed to stay with your man even after you pull the trap... so you don't leave your keeper hanging. My school team used to do it and it worked every time.
