Strange...I dreamed about flying with pure white angel wings sometimes...

This series is sad along the way, but it reminds me of my life somehow...I always tell myself that my health conditions is my Curse, and my True Self was sealed away in the deepest depths of my existence because of that. And...My wings were broken when I was born...I never found my answers on how to overcome these health conditions. But maybe...This series... might tell me a little something along the way in my life... :)

And the literal translation of "hane" is feather, but many subbers will translate it as "wings" depending on the context. :)

Hane = 羽 - Feather.

Tsubasa = 翼 - Wings

To tell everyone this, AIR actually has a happy ending. Sure, Misuzu died, which caused many fans to cry, including myself. But, the difference between Misuzu and the other incarnations of Kanna is that Misuzu was happy. She fell in love with Yukito, and finally had a true mother at the end. She's broken the curse of Kanna now. The next incarnation of Kanna will live long and be happy. Yukito can finally grasp the sky. He can finally remain with Misuzu in the sky. It's finally...happy...

My description posed a happy ending to air. It was from simple inference (deduction). The ending is happy because it sets the stage for a happy start. The part about Misuzu is rather sad though. That part can't be ignored, but overall it is a happy ending. There aren't gonna be any sequels or anything. It ended ideally.
