  • My husband and I have been together almost 4 years and have only spent one anniversary together. He was deployed a week after our daughter was born, and came back a week after her first birthday. Army life is tough, and us wives deserve so much for dealing with it :D

Good video! I feel ya hon! Good luck to you and your family.

  • Thank you for your comment.

Yeah. I hear ya. It is pretty tough but thats why it takes some one special do to our job.

I love him more than anything. I'm sure you love yours the same. I'm so glad he's alright and safe here at home ^_^ he'ssleeping right now I should go and join him.. Congrats on having yours come home safe too.

    Have a good one.

  • @jgam303 Sorry it has taken me so long to reply to you. I've been so busy. Good luck to your too :D

  • my husband is a navy corpsman currently deployed to Iraq. We're expecting our 2nd child and we celebrate our 3rd anniversary on Aug 14 2009. Out of three years of marriage so far we've only been able to celebrate together once. funny how timing works. i was pregnant the during our first anniversary that we didn't get to spend together and i'm pregnant this time around too. I'm noticing a pattern. i dont think we thank each other enough so thank for you serving with us. we're all in it 2gether.

  • We finally got to celebrate our 3rd in January. It was nice. Out of our 3 years, we were only able to spend one together too.

Thank you so much for what your husband does, and for the sacrifices that your family makes.

You are right. We are all in this together. The whole world doesn't know it but everyone knows SOMEONE who has been affected by the occupation in Iraq and Afghanistan.

We are all lucky that people, like our husbands, VOLUNTEER FOR THIS JOB.

Thank you for your comment. :D

  • THANK YOU!!

  • Thank you for your service as well.

He has been home for a month now. He is recovering and our family is finally back together.

    Have good one.

  • Thank you for your sacrifice, and tell you husband thank you too. Too many times people over-look the families of soldiers. They sacrifice a lot too.

I wish you and yours the best. My family and I will pray for a safe return of you Brave Soldier.

    Best wishes,

    An Army Vet.

  • Simply beautiful

  • Thank you so much :)

  • What an awesome video, I'm deploying in January or Feburary of 2009 and have a 9-month old daughter and missing that much of her growing up is going to be awful. Its great to see deployed soldiers with this much love and support from back home.

  • You miss your MATT and I prefer to sent my love to my MATT too. He is British Soldier and was sent to Iraq but now I still don't know howz goin with him. I beg for god, Please take care him and bring my love to him. My only love is for him and he will be the only one I love now and forever.

  • Good luck to your Matt :). Bless you, and keep praying. He will be in your arms once again. You and I are are the same. We may be in different countries and have different lives, but are effected by this war equally. Keep praying for it to end. 4,000+ American Troops, 1,000,000+ Iraqis. Enough is enough.

  • God Bles everyone who has a member in our army! Hooooooooooooorah! =)

  • I miss my husband too... (He is in Iraq)

You have a very beautiful daughter!

  • Thank you for your prayers :) Have a good one.

  • Loved the video!! It makes me cry. Be strong girl, I will pray for all of you. (your baby is so cute!)

  • Thank you!

  • Beautiful video and beautiful children!

  • Thank you I'm working on a new one :)

  • Why did he feel joining the Army was the best decision?

  • We had nothing. He was an Apprentice Electrician and he couldn't find any work. The work that he did find was 60 hours a week, $7 an hour, no health insurance or any benefits, and we found out we were pregnant once again. We were living in my parents house, which was too small for them, let alone our family. We both agreed that it would be the best thing to get us on our feet. He knew when signing up that the probability of him getting deployed was up there, but he signed up, and here we are. :)

  • Thanks :)

  • I didn't have any recent pictures of Amanda. But I will be making a new video for him too. He still hasn't seen the video yet, but I'm sure he'll love it.

  • Thanks for the comments. I don't know if he has had the time to see it, but I know that he's love it.

  • Aww..*sniff* very cute!

  • Hey matt come home safely we all look foward to seeing you again.

    - Elmore

  • Thanks Elmore.
