those are lineage costumes. it's because of eagle vision and such, hence the design motif. the time period has changed, and the assassins must adapt.

Brotherhood is to AC2 as Super Street Fighter 4 is to Street Fighter 4. Its a full game, but its not really its own game.

Yes it is a full game for Ezio's life in the brotherhood, and it will feature a story and multiplayer, but what I mean by the previous statement is that it is not Assassins Creed III, which will be a bigger and more expansive game in terms of plot characters and story than Brotherhood. IGN says Ubisoft stated that Assassins Creed III will not be out for >2 yrs and will feature a new character and place.
