people be warned, the game is good, but its buggy as fuck, the ai is as shitty as ever, multiplayer is laggy like shat, matchmaking doesnt work in 90% of the cases, you have to ALT F4, what a dissapointment

@nubbubnub well online somtimes sucks because of ppls from other countrys and bad comps but in my opinion the gameplay is good and the graphics are the best i have ever seen ; AI on hard is not as dumb as you think. Also you got to give the devolepers a chance to fix some of the bugs even though there was a demo they still need to fix some things that they couldent find in the demo i have no clue what type of comp or internet you have but my game runs great off of Steam and it never lags for me

@nubbubnub You could not be more wrong about the AI. Multiplaer isn't laggy, but it does fail to work about 50% of the time. There are a few bugs, but nothing compared to Empire.

i have played the game about 40 hours now and i say, the ai has the same flaws as always, its overal better but just yesterday ive beaten 2000 men with 600 archers, just because the ai is just standing around and waits till i kite them, otherwise it wont work till the end of the game, the multiplayer is laggy sometimes, caused by others with bad internet connection (just try more mp games), and yes, there are less bugs then in empire , but its still a shame

@dedsall78 Well if your couple of friends play on easy or medium it's normal computer sucks...tell them to try playing on very hard,they will see a big difference.

@pastet2x2 Well, I bought the game and the AI is still only decent at best. And I have played at Very Hard... the AI is no better, they only tend to gang up on you and have more troops.

@pastet2x2 Not only is the campaign map AI not smart - it's stupid. And that's half of the battle... if the AI charges recklessly (which it does) and doesn't know how to reinforce sieges and such, then a decent battle AI won't help much. And the battle AI is decent... I think because they took away realism factors that were present in the past. Terrain advantages don't seem to matter as much, unfortunately, as it used to or should.
