I'm pretty sure that it's the same neck as on the guitar "burning" in AC/DC's Highway to Hell tour program/poster (yes I was there at Towson State College/University...just outside of Baltimore, Maryland for the Oct. 16, 1979 show w/the Pat Travers Band featuring Tommy Aldridge on drums opening). I still have that program somewhere...probably worth a lot of $ now! That guitar was a Fender-ish shaped solid body...I guess they couldn't afford to burn real Gibson's back then.
Sorry...this guitar is long gone...plus people give me a hard time for even putting the distortion on saying it colors the tone and they can't hear what the guitar sounds like...so I like to plug straight into the amp. For what it's worth, I rarely use any pedals myself except the loop station which is really not an effect but a recording device. Thanks for watching though!
It's the only one I've ever seen...and I've seen lots...but they (Kawai) are in the official Vintage Guitar Buyers Guide...no models specifically, just some general guidelines...
I'm thinking in the $300 - $500 range...I'll probably start it at $299.99 including a case with shipping an extra $40.00 for the Continental U.S. Offers before I list it are always welcome...
I have this exact guitar! My uncle played it in the 60s

This is interesting. I have a jazz master looking body and neck given to me.
The neck is identical to yours. same inlays, trim, shape, string bar behind the nut. dead on.
Someone removed all the finish from it. otherwise I would know if it was the same make as yours.
