Both series are extremely good. Both characters are really awesome. If Dante and Cloud would fight, I do strongly believe that Dante would defeat Cloud because Dante can't die and he has more powers but Dante wouldn't kill him because they're both good. Dante only kills those who are evil. I do like them both the same though.

@blondkid245 ur fukin stupid u need to play all of the devil may cry's and watch the anime then say dante sucks u cant pit a modified human against a son of a demon commander that rose above the demon kings and say that cloud will win. dont no if u remember or not dante gets shot up sliced the fuk up and says nothing and cloud gets one bullet wound and drops to his knees and starts charging lik a 5-year-old that didnt get want he wanted...

cloud is a great character who'd probably pwn most ppl who he encounters but cloud vs dante?? sry dante wins any day of the week with all of dantes abilities he cud pwn cloud example: dreadnaught(makes dante immune to damage) then quicksilver(greatly slowing down time) then beast impact(such a powerful move that kills bosses in less than a minute normally)

@petrovik Ya true XD but no bullet from any gun cloud cant dodge and nunchucks wouldnt hurt him knowing that cloud went straight threw a mega flare that would have destroyed the whole city and didnt hurt cloud and thats not even half of how much endurance cloud has. @CloudStrifeComplete yeah did u forget that cloud kinda made his own barrier to go thru it though didnt u see that energy gathering in front of him and aerith protected him. if look and see both dante and cloud hav frinds t help them and who needs more help dante gets whinning and bitching frm his friends and he still does'nt try against over kill hard bosses...p.s. notice dante never tries only time he's ever tried was against vergil and thats because they wer equals at the time...

@petrovik I played all 4 dmc games and yes he is fast and strong but so is cloud but clouds fighting style is better in my opinion and anyway he only barely beat nero who isnt that strong compared to most game or anime characters XD

@CloudStrifeComplete He was just playing around with nero cause nero is a pussy. dante could have killed him any time he wanted, and dante is immortal, can stop time, kill any demon that comes his way and takes there power in the process, has 7 fighting styles from all games combined, and oh yeah, he's the son of the devil king, sparta and he's a badass.

(dante uses a shotgun as nunchucks enough said) plus he has devil trigger and he fough mundus out of space the only time dante got serious was when he fought mundus and vergil

looking at that video it show clouds moves faster than dante and you need speed to fight so dante wuld never keep up with cloud and see dante is a demon cloud is a human so dante wuld be a bad guy so he wuld lose

@mikey398 dante wasnt the main character in dmc4 he barely did anything in the game but when u play with him he is fast as hell and when u devil trigger into his demon form he is even faster and he can even teleport and dante is a good guy even if he has a demon form
