@norcaltke857 I think it's terrible how soldiers are treated by the US gov, they can legally dose you with whatever they want without your knowledge or consent, doesn't that make you a bit uneasy? I think you need to study history a little more if you agree with spreading democracy and freedom one bomb at a time.

I know what they give me because I am a medic and I actually administer most of the shots that are standard. Whatever the risk I am doing a job a lot of people don't wanna do. I do It because I love my country. They could eventually not pay us and I will still go to work and do what I signed up for because I love my country and stand for the people. I also have taken all my college history so I'm not gunna even start a debate on my political views.

@norcaltke857 lol I guess there's no harm in being a medic, I just think it's bad when people's political views lead them to carry guns. I definitely like freedom and democracy, but I don't think that invasions and bombing campaigns help spread those things. Let's not forget that the U.S. has helped instate many dictators over the years which sort of destroys the "liberation" argument. Something like 30, 000 civilians dead in Iraq and all you have to say is "Hoorah!"

It seems to me the only reason were in a war right now is to benefit the United States only. The politicians cover this up by saying how much they are helping the defenseless poor native people out in the Middle East, when really they do not want us over there in the first place. We are taking there oil and trying to shove american culture in to their lives when clearly our culture is fucked up. You have more to live for than sacrificing yourself for the government , because that is what you will die for, the government, not the country.
