its funny how people dont slow down when there is a cop on the shoulder doing a traffic stop. but people drive like a fucking snail just to see a car crash and slowing down the entire highway for no reason.
This is what happens during a fatality. This is after the initial incident. The Cops on scene are accident Reconstuctionists and Commercial vehicle Inspectors. Fire Truck on scene is on stand-by only.
The Fire truck was not there on stand-by, I know because I was one of the firefighters at that scene who rescued an injured person before the police arrived. We attend these vehicle accidents in order to provide fire suppression, auto-extrication, and first-aid. Thats how we roll.
You are absolutly right. I should have made myself clear that Fire would have responded "first" for the reasons just as you said and that this video is shot after the initial incident. I assumed that most people would have gotten that. I was addressing the question about all the cops. Poor choice of words on my part. Good job on the call brother. It's not about how many.. if you know highways in Ontario.. Most of the OPP cars there are to stop trafic in that area. and OPP is only Highway. or in places where they dont have local police :)
