Hi Muffluvin, sorry for late reply. A lot of work went into converting the Mini-Inferno to M-Chassis, not recommended unless have time and patience. In general, involved
- making/forcing/filing the uprights fit in the M Wheels (inner diameter just shy)
- extending the chassis, and the rear draft shaft, various connecting points
I like this, actually it makes me want to go back to the RC hobby. I have a Tamiya M01 Mini Cooper, had it with me for more than 15 years now. I bought it because of Mr. Bean :). I remember trying to make it as exact as Mr. Bean's mini cooper complete with the door locks.
Now if you don't mind Mr. Nelle, can you give some pointers on how you converted the Kyosho Mini Inferno M-Chassis to accommodate the Tamiya mini cooper Shell. I really would love to have this baby up and running again.
Very nnniiiccce...are rc mini coopers available in 1:24 scale? I would love to have one!!
