I wonder why Dr Patterson tried to convince that those flowers are real. Of course they are NOT real! They are painted/printed, and thereby a representation(!!) of flowers and NOT the actual thing! @XRaPeRiToX We know it's not random because she's able to use signs she knows to describe things she doesn't know the sign for. For example, she saw a duck land on some water and signed, "waterbird." She's not nearly as intelligent as an adult human, more like a 5 year old. Gorillas are a lot less violent than chimps, so it's very unlikely Koko WOULD kill her handler, though she easily could. Btw, the hippie is right, we are animals, by definition.
