Excellent bedroll ! I inherited a bedroll similar to this one from my who Dad had it for at least 40 years. Stolen while I was overseas, it's probably still going strong, now at least 60 years after purchase.
It's too big and no point in lugging that around. All you need is a 6x4' canvas tarp and a fleece blanket with two pieces of rope. That guys has too much lugruy. God bless Texas!!!!
18 feet? Wow, hope you are camping on purely flat ground with no one else around. Maybe make it half that size, and more folks would probably be interested in buying it. most of the re enactments I have been to, it was just a simple canvas sheet, with a deerskin, or cowhide leather staking pad. then usually a small blanket either rolled up, or a saddle used as pillow. But i guess you gotta make money somehow, and if folks are stupid enough to buy them, then more power to ya for selling them.
The only way that is a cowboy bedroll is if the cowboy is taking pack animals or a wagon. I think drives usually had wagons, but if a cowboy was out alone, he likely wouldn't have a wagon and might not even have a mule or pack horse, unless he was out for a long trek

What kind of a cowboy packs a bed roll the size of a King size comforter rolled up?

Definitely not made for bushcrafting that's for sure. Way too big and bulky to be carrying on your shoulder for long hikes.

Well, the description does say it's a replica of a cowboy bedroll, so one would assume it would be carried by chuck wagon or horse.

I've been looking for a sleeping bag like that. Who made it and where did you find it?

Too long? This guy knows what he's doing. Read the first line...
'This is a traditional cowboy bedroll." This is an updated replication of what was used on the trail. And yes, it was usually hauled in a wagon.
