I was twelve when I saw this movie; and I thought it was God awful then. I mean, as a pre-teen it's perfectly natural to have low standards; it's almost an unspoken law. But you KNOW something is terribad when you thought it was stupid when you were a pre-teen. For me the real zinger in shitiness for this film was the owl scene. I laughed pretty fucking hard at that.

I... never imagined that he would reveiw this. I saw this movie. I... half-and-half enjoyed it. I came up with my own explanation in my head. Yes, the witch screwed with the tapes. Before that, though... they got drunk enough that the power of the woods, not the witch itself, just... took over. That, or they were just plain drunk and the witch tried to hide it. I dunno.

Personally, I liked how they didn't explain what was really what in this movie. Me and my friends all spent a while talking about it after the movie. Does this make it a good movie? No. But it does kind of go outside the lines that other movies who flat out tell you what happened rather than let you come to your own conclusions. That's just me, though :P
