Hi kramneraks - We show the Wishblade in the video, the instructions on our home page (the drop down list under the 'Confectionery Icing" tab) were done using the Cricut, and we've yet to hear of an electronic cutter that SugarVeil doesn't work well with. I'm into scrapbooking and cardmaking too and have a lot of punchers. And I started wondering.. Do you think it's possible to use it in Cuttlebug machine/Quickutz? Not only can you cut out shapes in those machines, but emboss too. Anyway, I can't wait for the kit to arrive, and curious as I am I'm probably gonna try it in the Cuttlebug!

Hello, I absolutely love this product. I do have a question, though. I'm wanting to make a 3 letter monogrammed cake top that will stand up on the top tier of a wedding cake. The cake top needs to be about 6 inches high and may 4-5 inches wide. Will this product be suitable for such a project and how do recommend standing up the monogram? I already have the sugarveil powder mix.
@sorrelli4me, @sorrelli4me, Make a "slab" made out of chocolate, pastillage, or gumpaste, and stencil SugarVeil onto that. Then take a miniature easel (used for photographs - in the crafts stores), dilute the already-mixed SugarVeil with a bit of water to make it painting consistency, and paint the easel to match the cake. When dry, place the slab on this little easel and set it atop the cake.
Amazing I can't wait to get some sugarveil and have a go myself. it seems a lot easier to work with than flowerpaste and a lot more durable. thanks for the inspiration
We tried this at our bakery, followed the instructions exactly and it works great with the Cricut - so much nicer than gumpaste!! We are excited about saving ALOT of money on various cutters and saving time using our own designs with this. Thanks for posting the video.
