Es geht um ein Pärchen, das einen herrlichen Abend am Fluss verbringt. Das Baden darin bekommt ihnen aber nicht gut, und bei einem Morgenspaziergang entdecken sie einen toten Fisch. Der Arzt verordnet ihnen beiden Bettruhe und erklärt ihnen kopfschüttelnd, dass das Industrieabwasser die Natur vergiftet. Bald werden die Enten werden nicht mehr fliegen, der Otter wird Tränen weinen und die Flussufer werden schwarz und tot sein.

And as I still was not able to finger some minor-chords I soon gave it up and never heard this song any more for 30 years. Albert had many good songs, not all of which got airplay. In a very odd move, his Greatest Hits album had 20 songs on it(10 on each side)... a rare feat for a vinyl album. Then again, I did buy it overseas... in Japan (Okinawa to be specific)
