  • dude. this fucking rules

  • This is an amazing cover!!!!! Good voice

  • This is HOT!

You've inspired me to go dig out my slide and try, try again!

    Thank you!

  • Would LOVE to see a tutorial on this. Some of the slide licks sound awesome but also complicated would be nice to see them broken down

  • Oh man, this is just awesome...I think I might have to go out and learn how to play slide guitar now, haha

  • Reall Well Played , one of the few i know of , thx for keeping it alive ...Thumb

  • amazing cover and impressive beard, not so keen on the wallpaper though

  • @imogenlikeswords That wallpaper has heat. That wallpaper has soul. That wallpaper has lived it.

  • I'm gonna have to get me a slider!!!

  • This is awesome man! You've got a lot of soul.

  • Man, this is so great. Love this song :)

  • Beautiful cover.

  • hey man, this is awesome. you should post a tutorial on how to play this, nobody has posted a meet me in the morning tutorial yet and that would be fantastic. thanks man

  • This is fucking great man! Love it!!!

  • why aren't you chasing after the animal/person who stole your shirt?

Aside from that... you got a nice grove going. It's not a replica of Dylans version but I like it; It flows through nicely.

  • Cool. Dylan deserves to see this cover. \o/ I listened in the morning. Found your video on BeeMp3 featured on this song. Cheers

  • man. i love your version of the song..

  • Love your bluesy twist on this cover!

what tuning you got on there?

  • @vinniedurrant - Open E, but it might be D. I usually revert to D - same fingering, diff. key. But Blood on the Tracks is 90% Open E.

  • love it!!!

  • Fuckin' LOVE it, bro. I wanna be like you, but you look like my sister's boyfriend, so it'd be weird as shit.

  • really good man love that soul!

  • You are awesome. Do you mind if I post this on my blog? I am trying to learn slide as of now! LOL! This is my latest favorite song. You rocked it.

  • good stuff man! inspirational ! i think im gonna pick up that old slide.

  • I've enjoyed listening to this cover a couple of times and will come back to it again.

    Rosanella :)

  • fanfuckintastic

  • fanfuckintastic

  • love the slide guitar, great cover! maybe you wanna check out our cover, although we were heavily drunk and improvised most of it

  • Damn, shit was cash. Good job man.

  • I really enjoyed this, I like dylan so much i am not a big fan of covers, i think most of his studio covers are perfect already.. so I am normally critical but enjoyed listening to this. this song has always been a favorite dylan tune. you are right, it is overlooked. the rythem of this song is just begging for a bass and some levon helms type drums.. shuffling down the street.. maybe throw in some hammon b3 organ work.

  • Coooooooool!!!!!!! My greatest respect

  • Nice

  • Are you in standard tuning or are you in Open E/D?

  • @sleepyduo37 - E I think, but D works as well.

  • awsome

  • Wonderfull! Amazing! By closing m eyes few seconds I could easily imagine myself walking on a desert railroad track!

Btw, is your guitar in an open E-tunning?

  • Gnarly... I always figured this song needed some sweet slide'n

  • nice fucking around, bro..:-) well done...love the slidin' on that scruffy 6-string...

One of my favorites by Mr.Zimmerman..

way to go.... hail, hail "Blood on the Tracks"!

  • Too much information, but fantastic playing. Love that slide. Great cover!

  • "fucking around naked"? Dude, who puts a hat on when he's naked...

    contrived much?

  • You are garbage.

  • I love you!

  • quality!

  • You executed the song very well, great upload.

  • hey man, I like the cut, could you post the audio from the video so rest of us not so talented could dl it.

  • if you want the original version by Dylan just send me your email address and I'll email you the mp3. or you could just search for the original song on here and I'm sure you could find it.

  • Just posted My 1st U-Tube and it just happened to be a Shirtless, Right Hand Version of the same tune. I was just messing around with a new Alveraz Jumbo Guitar, a new camera phone & some cheap Carl Rossi Burgundy. I dig your grooves.

My Bro plays open tuning but not like you. I will have to show him this.

    Bob (not Dylan)

  • Great cover.. great playing and good voice!

  • excellent playing, great job. one of my favorites too

  • Kickass cover dude!I loved it!And agree with you about the tabs.Screw'em!Just feel the blues man, just feel the blues...

  • Glad you dug on it. And yes, I feel it's always more genuine when you just get in the groove and go. It's different every time, and that's part of what makes it exciting and fun to play.

  • just wanted to thank you man, kinda learned this great song (one of my absolute favorites btw) off your video.

    saved my hangover sunday!

  • You're very welcome, and I'm glad I could help. Most of the "Blood on the Tracks" album is in Open E Tuning. Such a great album, great tuning and a very overlooked song in my opinion.

    Thanks for posting.

  • yeah, definitly overlooked that one. even made a bottleneck today, suceeded on second try with a hacksaw, a hammer and some tape. :D

    best wishes from germany!

  • I have a pretty good tutorial (around here somewhere) on how to make a good bottleneck slide if you're interested. I never did it because I'm way too dangerous.

    Best of luck.

  • sorry to the poster that asked if it was in Open D. I deleted your comment by mistake. I don't what the fuck I'm doing but it is in Open E.

Sorry again, and thanks for your question and I'm sorry for deleting it.

  • I don't have tabs, read tabs, or deal with tabs. I know what they are, but it's quicker for me to go by ear. Tune to Open E, and the bulk of it is between frets 5, 7, and 12. Just go with it man. You don't need tabs; just FEEL it.

    Hope this helps....

  • thats great...except the nude part lol

  • Ouch. I don't know how I'm supposed to take that. Maybe I should take it as a compliment lest my self esteem take another hit in this cruel ol world. :)

  • the fact that you are naked kind of creeps me out, but other than that, very well done

  • Creeps you out? Wow, I'm getting brutalized on this nudity thing. :)

Thanks for the comments and I'm glad you liked the cover, since you didn't like the nudity. (1 outta 2 ain't bad I guess...)

  • way to go man, that was really good.

  • most cool indeed ! thanks to Jane for sending this ;o)

  • This is great! You've got such a nice groove going:) 5 stars for sure! 5*****Jane
