@elysa64 There should be a Gain knob on your amplifier which you can turn up to distort the sound! If not try looking for a channel select button/switch which switches you between clean channel and distorted channel!

a bar chord is basically a power chord exept with a bar chord on the E string you are gunna play major chords, and with A strings your gunna play it with both ur fingers baring the strings. too hard to explain on the internet
